We stayed for two nights whilst traveling around Sri Lanka. The location was great in terms of visiting Sigiriya Rock and local shops/restaurants. There is also a lovely walk to the local lake which I would recommend. Chandana is the Manager and he was fantastic. He really looks after his guests and makes sure everyone feels welcome. The room, food...

This guesthouse has little cottages with 3 rooms each, all ground floor looking on to the garden, the rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The week before our visit the guesthouse had an elephant braking through the garden and enjoing their banana trees. In the evening we loved watching the monkeys jumping from the branches on the cottage roof ;)...

We spent two nights here at a very dry time of year- September so can not vouch for what the gardens might look like when the rains have been. The rooms are very clean and the bed was comfortable. You eat in an outside dining area which was fine. The food, we ate breakfast and one dinner, was tasty and...

Lovely shower, good beds and wifi in the room. I had travelled from Negombo and was starving and they kindly did an omelette for me. I had dinner in the...

I had a chance to stay at Sigiriya Cottage for 3 nights in Jan 2016, the outdoors on this property is heaven with really the right atmosphere and calmness prevailing, it was really impressive and surrounded by nature. The cottage rooms were ok (they were old) with the exception of a TV and an odd smell prevailing. The better things...

We stayed only one night. First what I have to say that the owner was very friendly and willing to do everything for us. He wanted us to feel comfortable and he did so. We got a room, but I could smell a humidity so we could change a room...no problem :-) We could even keep our stuff in the...

Sigiriya Cottage is a very beautiful property managed by a family. The rooms are very big and clean. This hotel is very close to the Sigiriya rock. The greenery around is not only soothing to the eyes but also attracts many birds in the campus. Early morning we were also greeted by giant squirrels. Short staffed but very friendly. Overall...
