We spent 4 nights here in one of their cabanas which were very nice. We also had a nice veranda and it was peaceful. The rooms were clean ( the poor cleaner was waging constant war on the sand), and the bed comfortable. The décor was rather of the brutalist concrete style, and the shower was ok though you did...

We arrived in the afternoon and we're shown to our room. The room was nice and clean and very spacious. No added extras but we weren't expecting any as knew what we were booking. When we did book the room however, on agoda it specified a private balcony this was not the case as our balcony was in a public...

We stayed three nights. The room was nice and large and we had a big porch. The bathroom was great except for a drain smell that was apparent from time to time. The pool was super to hang out around, clean and good size, and the service around the pool was attentive - loved the lime juice and mint. The...

It was a lovely place, we had booked the beach chalets and they were absolutely great..utterly spacious, clean and chic. Food was great too. The hotel has both the beach and lagoon so it is very picturesque and extremely relaxing.

Overall from the moment we checked in and departed the stay was very enjoyable due to the excellent overall standard of the hotel. Good food , clean rooms and friendly staff .since it was a weekend a small band or some kind of light music would have being a welcome.

The room is fine. It has A/S. Maybe a little bit moisty, but it is okay. The room cleaner is so sweat and folds the towels on the bed like animals and other stuff. The beach is okay, but the waves are big.

If you are looking for a nice and clean hotel, this a good choice. Although rooms are without decoration, it is pleasant to stay here. One recommendation for management is to change tags for housekeeping, because they are not holding on doors and the wind blows them away.

Really nice place with modern facilities. The pool was nice and the beach side restaurant had everything we wanted. One negative was that it did not have Sri Lankan food. Breakfast buffet was also very nice with a good selection of local food

Technically this hotel is on Marakolliya Beach with Tangalla about 5 km away. For us being away from the hustle staying almost on a near deserted beach was wonderful. But if you want action don't come here. Swimming on the beach is a challenge with rips and rocks but you can manage short dips if you know what you are...

Really depends on your expectations... if you like it a bit rustic and get a good price then hotel is probably fine. However, we were expecting to stay in a "Luxury" hotel on New Year's eve. That hotel was overbooked, so we ended up overpaying here, at one of the few remaining hotels with space on December 31st... Good bits:...
