We stayed at Lonely Beach Resort for 2 nights and paid for the sea view room. The view was minimised due to the palm trees and other shrubbery, but we could still see the sea through this and regardless, the view was still beautiful, the balcony was also huge with nice big loungers! When we arrived we were greeted by...

A cool place situated right by a really long beach were there isn't too many tourists. Ok restaurant, a bit pricy. Really nice rooms. If you want to do a lot swimming/bathing this might not be the place since there are really big waves and strong currents on this beach. My friend really got whirled and cried a little, haha.

We had a fantastic stay at LBR a couple days ago, coming from Unawatuna and Mirissa. Our room (top floor sea-view room) was spacious and clean and had a large & completely private balcony with two cozy chairs - it was the most amazing place to sit and relax during the day. You'll only hear sounds of the wind and...

We spent only one night in this hotel, nevertheless it was fine to be there. The hotel is locatel directly on the beach, there are almost no tourists, definitelly it is far from town and traffic and noise. Next to the hotel there is beautiful beach and see. Unfortunatelly the see was wavy and therefore a little bit risky to...

We had our usual room facing the sea which had been upgraded this year. The rooms are always spotless give or take a few ants, but just remember this is a tropical country. The food is always good and comes in large portions. Although the beach is not the best for swimming, it stretches as far as the eye can see,...

The Location was perfect. Right on the beach and also adjacent to the lagoon. The rooms were quite spacious, very clean and comfortable. You can hire a canoe from the next resort and explore the lagoon which is home to many rare birds. The beach is quite rough but there is an area around 200 m away where a natural swimming...

My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights at the Lonely Beach and loved it. The resort is simple but very well done. The beach outside of the resort is beautiful and had about 4 people on it when we went there. We also ate at the resort for one night with our prawn dishes being plentiful and delicious. The rooms...

We stayed at the Lonely Beach Resort for two nights, we wish we had stayed longer! Rooms are spacious and overlook the picturesque beach through the palm trees. Our room didn't have AC but there was a fan. Breakfast is served in the cafe and we opted for eggs and fruit platter, simple but tasty. If you want to eat...
