Just to put things in perspective, my wife and I travel a lot and stay in accommodations ranging from hostels to luxury hotels. I always review a place within the context of what I paid. That being said, we paid too much. The place was clean, but dated with need for repairs, especially that 20 year old AC that sounded...

Stayed for two nights. Basically all the rooms at ground floor have a moist-problem: the smell of fungus is terrible. Needless to say, that apart from the smell this is also very bad for your health. We both had a terrible headache the following day (and no, one of us was sober so it wasn`t just a hangover). As extra...

We stayed a week on Isla Colon and stayed at multiple hotels to find one we liked best. This hotel was our least favorite. We had a king room overlooking the ocean, and it was decent. It felt pretty clean, had a great view and big double doors to the balcony over the water. However, there was a bar right...

I didn't stay at this hotel but we did go in and have a drink at their bar a few times. Mariela the bartender is lovely and she also organised tours at good prices. The place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere to chill out with a few beers on the deck looking across the water. However, the only down point...

I stayed 2 nights in a stuffy room. The towels in the bathroom were frayed and desperately need to be retired to duster status. The AC was noisy and generally ineffective. I would recommend it as a last resort. The location is great, only a 5 minute walk to the center of town, and boats can come right up to...

We went to Bocas for a two day get away with some friends. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the water taxi stands so no walking thru town dragging your luggage. Our room was king size bed with not the greatest view, but okay. Balcony with 2 chairs is soooo small you can't even sit out there without...

Despite doing a lot of research before we went, we still managed to end up in the noisiest place in town. Right next to a nightclub that had the walls bouncing until 3am! Only the very noisy AC went a small way to drowning out the noise (it was no good for anything else!) We had asked for a water...

We put up with the terrible smell of a very moldy room for 2 nights. The manger (Joe) was extremely rude, unfriendly and doesn't respect the hotel guest. We had a Oferta Simple certificate for 2 nights and a free buffet breakfast was included. The manager (Joe) and the staff didn't honor the free breakfast and charged us for it....

KEEP AWAY from this dump. Over-priced and filthy. The people running this joint don't give a toss either about the state of their place. Give it a wide berth is our advice. Even asking for hot water or for a remote control that works is too much for these people. The whole lot of them unfriendly and inhospitable.

e really are not sure how to reply to you as you really have unpleasant things to say without stating anything exactly what was wrong. We have allot of people stay here that love the hotel and the staff, cleanliness and the atmosphere. We do have the odd "less then perfect" experience like any hotel but that is usually pertaining...

The web site clearly states that all their rooms "come equipped with spacious balcony with seating". We booked with an Oferta Simple, Panamanian equivalent to Groupon for two standard rooms for two nights as the suites were not available. We arrived early and asked if we could store our luggage until the rooms were ready. They were stored in Room...
