This is the only Panamanian owned hotel in Bocas! The hotel was nice and the room was comfortable. The price though was expensive for what was offered. While breakfast was included there was no fridge in the room and no mini soap and shampoos were offered. The staff also was not overly friendly. Not worth the price for an average...

Staying here for 3 nights on my way through to Panama City. It feels more like a home than a hotel. Very clean, proper hot showers and a super comfy bed! It is really nice to chill on the upstairs porch and also enjoy breakfast with a cool ocean breeze! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Gran Bahia is a very nice place. It's quiet, beds are huge and very comfortable. It's extremely clean and we'll run and the breakfast is adequate too. Location is perfect and the view is lovely. The rooms are big too!

I have stayed at this hotel before (but over 10 years ago). I stayed here with my bf and some friends for what is called "Dias Patrios" here in Panama. We were picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel (though it is not that far, and one can walk without a problem). The staff at the hotel...

We spent two nights at this very cute hotel located right on the main street of Boca town. Everything is at walking distance. There is a very nice terrace overlooking the bay where breakfast is usually served. Rooms are wide and comfortable and the owners Darla and Tito will help you out with anything you might need!

We had a very nice stay at Bahia Hotel! I loved the big terrace upstairs with a view over the ocean. The hotel is situated near restaurants, bars, and the best supermarket of the lovely island of Isla Colon. Rooms are nice and clean, with a very comfortable bed, AC working perfectly, clean bathrooms. The staff was very helpful and...

This is an impressive building with an ocean view but it is pretty 'rough round the edges'. The bed was comfy and the air-con good, but there was a general lack of cleanliness about the place (sticky floors, dubious marks around the toilet etc) and the breakfast was absolutely awful compared to every other hotel in our 2 week Latin...

Stayed at this place in november of 2015. I had few expectations at first but then change when we got to the room. The place was totally clean, really nice, a really comfortable bed. The only thing that doesn´t like us was the breakfast is served on the second floor and the table was next to our door so since...

Gran Bahia is an institution (having once been the HQ for the United Fruit company) but for such a grand building it is lacking in character. Equally it is very noisy at night (to be fair we were there on 28/29th Dec so every bar was blaring out music...to 4am!) The breakfast is a sad affair...not an egg in sight...

The reception staff was very pleasant, especially the young man who checked us in who was also helpful to us personally, I believe his name was Alguino or Algernon (sorry about inaccurate spelling) but the reception staff are literally sitting behind bars which made you feel like you were walking into a prison. Nice hardwood floors everywhere but the hotel...
