Chose this hotel as recommended by my friend. You get more than what you pay for, clean rooms, hot showers, Tv and AC. 2 min walk away from town but quite at the same time and the best views you can get as they got a ground level dock as well as one on the 2nd floor where you can... More

In a place where everybody gets a cut for refering you to a place to stay, and nobody cares about the quality or just helping out, here is a saviour. The manager Ben was the best person i met on my Central American trip. He helped us even find another great place to stay when his hotel was full. Highest... More

Nice clean room, friendly staff during my stay, breakfast is a little cheap (muffin and chemical juice), really nice common area to watch sunrise and sunset. Had a room on 3rd floor looking at the sea... was lucky on that one I guess :)

We had a good time at the Olas Hotel in Bocas del Toro. The rooms are clean and there is warm water. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Sometimes it's a bit loud if you have a room downstairs, they didn't give us the option for a room upstairs. Breadfast contains a muffin, a coffee and a juice...which unfortunately isn't... More

Nicely located at a calm spot directly on the waterfront and only a couple of minutes from "downtown", this is a nice place to stay. The standard room we had was clean and had AC and TV (both which we did not need). They also organize some tours and other services, but they are not pushed upon you. The bar... More

Stayed at Hotel Olas for a total of 3 nights during my 2-week trip to Panama with a friend. The property is clean and beautiful, right on the water and made us feel at home. The manager, Noam, could not have been more accommodating and helpful and we appreciated his efforts to make our visit to Bocas so enjoyable. When... More

I liked this place because of the clean and beautiful rooms. There is a big restaurant direct to the beach and it is calm and relaxed. I paid 50 $ which should include breakfast - a very small muffin and a little bit cafe... The staff always looked angry and unmotivated.... all in all it is not a good place... More

I stayed in Hotel Olas four nights (28.11. - 02.12.2012) and I enjoyed it a lot! After 2 weeks travelling through Ecuador it was the perfect place to relax by enjoying sea and nature! Nice and clean rooms, helpful and patience stuff and management - Thanks! To be back on the Bocas OLAS would be my first choice!

The best thing about the hotel is that it is located away from the noisy area of town. If its a nice day the sunset over the back area that is the bar/dock is also quite nice. If its cloudy and grey you wonder what you let yourself in for. Don't expect any help whatsoever from the reception staff. Our... More

I got off the taxi boat at 6 am only to find the town deserted other than a few dogs and buzzard birds going through garbage. The whole length of the town is only about 10 blocks so the walk from the water taxi to the hotel only took me about 5 min. Location is o.k. as it is a... More
