My family stayed at the Palmar Tent Lodge for four nights in May. We are two adults and two nine-year old kids. The property is fronted by postcard-perfect Red Frog Beach. Palm-leaf umbrellas, chairs, and hammocks are located on the sand and are available to guests. The restaurant and bar are on the beach. The tent lodges are set back...

I’m sad to say this was one of the worst places I have ever stayed because they cannot guarantee the security of their guests whilst in the accommodation. My friend and I booked two nights here and on the second night woke up in our tents at 2am to find someone had come in and had stolen our phones. We...

Hello, What happened to you and your friend during your recent stay was absolutely terrible. She also just left a review about the same night, which we responded to. Having your privacy violated, and your phone stolen, is completely unacceptable. This place is also our home, so we take the event very seriously. As we mentioned in our previous communication...

A Friend I hadn't seen in years says lets backpack through Panama, cheap. Ok, I'm 62 she's 55. Both in fairly good shape. This not a place for faint of heart or those used to being pampered at the Ritz. 10 minute Water taxi ride ($5 each way) from Bocas Del Toro docks. Walk through the jungle on a maintained...

The staff, the owners and the people that place attracts are the perfect combination to have a great time on the probably nicest beach In Bocas del toro. Living right on water and in the jungle at...

We stayed at Palmar for 2 nights during our visit of Bocas and we absolutely loved it there. This eco-friendly resort is really special. It offers a unique experience of staying in a tent in the middle of a jungle. The nature around there is breathtaking, the beach is really beautiful and good for swimming too. The restaurant and the...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the lodge for 3 nights. It was so refreshing to disconnect from the rest of the world and just be very present with nature and good company. Everyone we met there, either visitors or staff were amazing. Although you have limited options to eat, the Palmars menu for all meals was delicious and well-priced....

Do not miss out on this unique experience. The three nights we spent at the Palmar Tent Lodge will always stand out as the best part of our trip to Panama, and I hope we get to return one day. Let’s start with the people. The entire staff help facilitate your awesome stay on this remote island: the owner, Sebastian,...

My girlfriend and I stayed for five days and had a great time! The location is amazing, the staff are super nice and the food was excellent! Feels good to be out of wifi zone, connect to your surroundings and the nature. Highly recommended!

Bocas del Toro is worth the visit whatever but when you jump on a boat taxi and get dropped off for the short walk to Palmar Tent Lodge it gets better. This accommodation is on a beautiful sand beach which not much else. There is hiking paths through the jungle, where you come across bright red frogs, to get to...

Sleeping in the jungle with sloths and red frogs, yet only a few steps to the beach is what makes this place magical. You get a unique experience sleeping in the tents, and then waking up to do yoga or walk right to a tiki hut sitting on white sand where you can lay all day, maybe just getting up...
