Tranquilo Bay is much more than a place to stay, it's an experience. The owners have created a unique and unforgettable setting and have thought of everything. Our 4 nights here was the highlight of our trip to Panama. We are a family of 4 with two young children who are almost 3 and 5. We were wonderfully catered to...

Since we found Tranquilo Bay via TripAdvisor, we feel compelled to add our two cents. Based on all the glowing reviews we had high expectations, and they were exceeded on every level. We stayed with our two kids (aged 6 and 8) for five nights, and no one wanted to leave. The setting is superb, from the oh-so-jump-friendly dock over...

We visited the Tranquilo Bay Eco Adventure Lodge on a birding trip with Victor Emanuel Nature Tours. Our stay was the best trip we have ever been on on a birding trip. Our only wish is that we had more time at the lodge, relaxing in the tranquility. No cars on the island. No TV. Nothing but the sounds of...

I was on a birding trip with VENT lead by Jeri Langham, an excellent birder and all round great naturalist. At TBEAL the accommodations were superb, the owners soooo gracious and accommodating, and the staff wonderful👍. I would like to single out a superb birder and naturalist Natalia who was quite insightful at identifying many bird and plant species. It's...

While we have been to central America several times, this was our first trip to Panama. Tranquilo Bay was our third and final stop for the last 7 days of our trip. They arranged transport for the four of us from Boquete to the coast where Jay was waiting with the boat to take us to TB. Despite the brief...

Although we've been to Central America many times, this was our first venture to an island off the Caribbean coast. Although the Caribbean side of Central America can be rainy even in the dry season and it was rainy during the boat trip to the island, the weather cooperated enough that we were able to do the things that we...

Tranquillo Bay offers a great combination of adventure, educational exploration and relaxation! we were able to kayak, paddleboard and snorkel to our hearts content as well as relax in our private cottage or on the inviting deck outside the main lodge. Highlight of the trip may have been the bat cave tour. The naturalists as well as the hosts daily...

Tranquillo Bay is wonderfully located on a large island in the Boca Del Toro. The owners have had the vision to create a lodge that is really of its place among the Mangroves of the Caribbean coast. High quality, exceptionally well-maintained and private. Superb food and hospitality with proprietors Renee, Jim and Jay. Three of the most active and interesting...

My daughter and I spent 3 days at Tranquilo Bay and loved every minute...even the wet ones. The property is beautiful with all kinds of flowering plants and plentiful wildlife. The cabana's are very roomy, clean, well supplied, and comfortable, the Lodge comfortable and friendly. I enjoyed the family style meals where we met interesting people from around the world....

We loved our stay here!!! First off, the setting is fantastic. When they bought the property they purchased 200 acres on the island, preserving the surrounding lush and gorgeous rain forest. "They" being Renee, Jay and Jim (and their 4 kids). They've created an oasis in Bocas where you feel at home amongst their family and nature. The staff was...
