Definitely recommend this if you're looking to stay in Delhi somewhere away from all the crowds! There are only 3 rooms here so it's a very cosy place to stay, and so peaceful. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the lovely roof terrace - the...More

I would suggest asking them to send a car for you. It will be more expensive than a taxi because it's a " double run" but it won't be a wallet buster cost. The reason is because New Delhi traffic and the sheer size of the place. You can't assume that the taxi driver from the airport will be able to find the Colonels retreat. I took a local taxi during my stay, it was a 15-20 ride, but it took 45 minutes because the taxi driver, a very nice man, from Amritsar not Delhi ! didnt know his way around LOL the taxi drivers often rely on you knowing where you are going .
The Colonels Retreat is fantastic , just let them take care of you,

I agree with the previous reply. We arrived around mid day and the hotel arranged a pick up from the airport. Great to avoid the hassle of arranging a cab on arrival when you are jet lagged and have waited 2hours to be visa processed. I can't recall how long it took to reach the hotel but was hampered by numerous heavy traffic jams.
