I've stayed here on three occasions. The first two experiences were very nice. The lady who runs the place and her son, are both friendly, so is the young caretaker. The rooms are very well done, spacious and large. The bathrooms are also well maintained. This place particularly caters to foreign guests and tries to give them a comfortable homestay...

I stayed here in December 2016 and had a lovely en-suite room off a terrace. The location is excellent and ambience that of a family home while still maintaining a degree of privacy. The Gupta Family made the stay- very friendly, more than helpful and warm. Mrs Gupta is in charge of a truly wonderful Kitchen. In addition there are...

I stayed here for the last 4 nights of my 19 day trip to India. It was a wonderful place to relax and contemplate the possibility of 'living' in India one day. Be prepared to take a bucket bath. Hot water may not last a long shower.

Dear Carla, Many thanks for taking out time and sending us such a wonderful review. It was a great experience hosting you as well. We are so glad staying with us opened up a possibility for you to stay in India long term. I love immersing in local culture and The Gupta family who owns and operates Prakash Kutir B&B provided me with one of the best ever opportunities to do so. Their family has been in South Delhi since 1890, so they were able take me to places that the ordinary tour operator wouldn't even know about. The food, much of which...

I stayed here for 2 months, and received a discounted price. The location was uniquely excellent for me, a <10 minute walk from my office. For that reason, I am very happy I stayed there. If you don't care about the location as much, it might not be worth the extra expense. Pros: - modern, luxurious for Indian standards, with...

Dear Thomas, Many thanks for finding out time and writing us a short and crisp review. We are glad that you liked our services and enjoyed your stay with us. We are extremely sorry about the dogs who might sometimes get a little aggressive during the night time, but they don't bite. We are constantly trying to approach the authorities...

Just about 30 mins drive from the airport, near the Hauzkhas E block market. The rooms are big and toilets are clean. Wifi is available - but not very efficient. Breakfast is good. There is no intercom facility in the room. People are very nice and enjoyed the stay. Would recommend anyone for this place. Krishnan R Goa

We loved our stay at Prakash Kutir. The hosts are wonderful and cooked us hot breakfast every morning. They went above and beyond to provide travel advice and luggage storage when we had a late flight out. Pros: - Location (near Hauz Kaus village) - Wonderful hosts - Delicious breakfasts (mostly Indian style fried foods and lots of fruit and...

I stayed for over a month while doing some work in Delhi. The location is fantastic, both centrally located while being relatively quiet at night (I know people complain about the dogs, but I just accept nighttime as the time when dogs own the streets, pretty much everywhere). It has a separate entrance and well-equipped shared kitchen for guests, as...
