Jan 2017. Family of 4: 2 adults, 16yo and 10yo, Lodhi Room. The hotel is described as a boutique hotel...it is in as much as the personal and attentive service you get from staff. It is a large facility with very large rooms and suites. Lodhi Room upwards each has ITS OWN heated plunge pool (fitted one adult and 2...

We stayed as a family in a 2 bedroom suite at the Lodhi to kick off our Indian vacation. When we arrived at 2:30 AM, we were met by the manager and a team of staff to assist us to our room. Check in was kindly done in our room to speed things along.

Elegant and graceful public spaces together with very large and comfortable rooms offer guests a peaceful respite from busy and gritty Delhi. The spa is lovely and with extensive fitness facilities and a beautiful pool, guests are able to unwind and relax. Our room, with plunge pool and balconies and a fantastic view of Humayun's tomb, was quiet and well...

The Lodhi is the former Aman New Delhi. You would never know from the noisy , commercial property that now operates. The management and front office staff are friendly and efficient , and all the staff try their best , but the hotel doesn't know whether it wants to be a business hotel ,a leisure destination or a place for...

Great terrace and private pool, still.. do really shower after your little session... Good cocktail at the bar, but if you're a women alone you will get the full...

I travelled here on a short business trip from London. The hotel is exceptional. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. Chic, clean and comfortable. The staff were discreet and yet attentive and always on hand to help. The house cars are very useful to get around the city and we made use of these over a couple of days....

We hosted a business dinner and presentation here. The rooms and service were immaculate. The hotel was hugely impressive. Reminiscent of Castle Drogo, the wood, the concrete, the understated lines, could it be inpired by New Delhi? Quite possibly. We had the most magnificent canapes and Indian plus Thai buffet. Impressive.

I have stayed in almost every luxury hotel in New Delhi (and across India). As a career hotelier, I am probably difficult to please :) - The Lodhi is my new home in Delhi, absolutely outstanding service (led from the front by Vikram, the new GM) and a great product. Perfect for a business or leisure stay, and don't miss...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Previously the Aman New Delhi, The Lodhi opened 1 February 2013 as a boutique city property reflecting all the values of an Aman resort with a dynamic, new interpretation of simple and easy luxury. Centrally located on nearly seven acres on the "green" edge of Lutyens or Imperial Delhi and across the road from the Delhi Golf Course, The Lodhi offers a dynamic and vibrant atmosphere in the restaurants, courtyards and public areas but also the seclusion, peace and club- like atmosphere of the seven floors of guest accommodation. Located close to the Lodhi Gardens with old trees and beautifully designed and built tombs dating from the Lodhi era (1451 to 1526), The Lodhi is 10 minutes from the center of New Delhi (Connaught Place), some 40 minutes from the International Airport and close to many neighborhood shopping precincts. There are several food and beverage outlets in The Lodhi. All rooms and suites were extensively renovated in 2012. All rooms and suites have their own private plunge pool and secluded balconies. ... more   less
