Sanju is an excellent chauffeur. He’s polite and courteous and we felt safe and comfortable with him. He also speaks good English and has a pleasant and helpful personality. Highly recommend him to all travellers.
Once again, the Leela's efficient team made an emergency overnight trip to Delhi easy and comfortable. All I did was to message our flight details to Preeti, the guest services manager, and she took care of everything else in her usual, ‘leave it to me’ manner. Like always, we were met at the Customs exit by Sumit - the superhero with top security clearance who whisked us away from the airport and into one of Leela’s luxurious sedans. Our cell phones caught the Leela Wi-Fi instantly to Shishu Pal, our driver’s delight. We did not hear him make any call alerting the hotel of our arrival, so perhaps it was smoke signals or Leela agents posted along the highway, but the welcome committee was ready and waiting for us at the hotel entrance. Everyone, from the security guards to the doormen and porters, greeted us with a warm Namaste with folded hands. This is the part I love – being given fragrant garlands made of tuberoses and the red Tilak on the forehead. Bithika, the newly appointed concierge, led us to our room and quickly did the check-in formalities there. Over at the Royal Club Lounge, the staff welcomed us warmly with pots of freshly brewed Darjeeling tea – they remembered! Shishu Pal drove us around that evening as we tried to complete our chores in the short time that we had. On our return, Rachna came over to say hello and offer us tea at the Lobby Lounge. I looked for Sandeep to thank him for taking my last-minute baked goods order on the phone, persuading the Chef to make a fresh cake, and delivering it to my family on Diwali despite the short notice. Dinner at The Qube that evening was casual, fun, and exciting, bringing on an ear-to-ear smile. From Chaat, Chinese dumplings, spicy Szechuan noodles, and stir fry vegetables to Malai Kulfi and the molten lava chocolate cake, the food was seriously delicious. The staff hovered at our table, tempting us with one dish after another, requiring little contemplation or discussion from us. The Qube is an approachable restaurant in both style and price. A Modern, clean, straightforward decor with upscale international cuisine that isn't fussy, overpriced, or overdone. We left the following day, with Shishu Pal driving us to the airport and coordinating with Sumit to ensure a smooth departure. For me, the Leela Palace can never be a “been there, done that” hotel.…
I stayed at Leela for two weeks in a business trip while in Delhi and enjoyed every minute of my stay. Yogesh was my driver and I felt safe and very well taken care of. He was more than accommodating with my meeting schedule and made sure to get me where I was going on time and safely. I will be sure to call him when I arrive in Delhi for my next trip. All around excellent experience. Thank you!
We love tasting multiple cuisines. Right from Dahi Papdi chaat, to raw Papaya salad, to sushi to cannelloni - everything was just perfect. How could the taste of everything be excellent. The service was immaculate. Thanks Qube for a wonderful evening- again
Had to be one of the best hotels i have stayed in. Located very close to all the embassy's, and India gate. The two most liked from my stay would be the Food and the Chauffeur for my travels around the city and Airport pickup and drop, especially the Chauffeur 'Brij Mohan'. infract every time i stayed with them i always ask the Hotel to assign Brij to drive me around. He is cheerful and knowledgeable and of course a great driver.
