Awesome experience to say the least , the icing on the top was the exceptional hospitality by the staff right from check in to check out , left no stones unturned to make our stay perfect , food wand rooms were excellent, they took care of everything they could, COVID protocol strictly followed , Lounges were closed so they served Happy Hours at their bar which was awesome again from ambiance to food , a special mention to the continental snacks at the bar , overall the stay was just amazing 👍👍👍
I just hosted my daughter's wedding and booked both desire and sovereign outof their long list of halls for separate functions. They have many combinations for any number of guests. I would like to put a word here specifically for Mr. Dinesh who handles the booking of banquets and handles everything in such a way that you will not even feel the need to do anything else.Their Chef Prajapati is excellent in helping you choose the right menu for any occasion and gives his best to make his guests as happy as possible with the sumptuous taste of his food. on all occasions. Captain Sudhaker needs a special reference here for making things so easy during the function. There were other members of his team like Mr. Datta who also needs to be commended.
Le Meridian has been among my old favorite for over 20 years. I had wished to return to its top floor restaurant bar for long. I remember sitting on the counter to enjoy the great India Gate views. On my trip today, it seems top floor bar restaurant was closed. The hotel was bit quite and even in the main lobby bar no one cared to ask for a cup of Coffee.
My first trip back to India and the Le Meridien after 2 years due to Covid. So pleased to be welcomed back and made to feel at home. Still a few difficulties to overcome, such as the Club Lounge being closed, but the efforts and the hard work of the Staff made all the difference. - So many thanks to the all the team at the Le Meridien
Me and my husband stayed here mid September. Hotel was nice, clean with helpful staff. It is a little out the way of everything else not really in tourist area. I did have a bad experience one evening, I had booked the hotel myself and we had checked in. One evening we had gone out for dinner and drinks and came back around 2am I was stopped by Sercurity at boarding the lift to MY hotel room and ask if I had submitted my ID to reception was very confused about this. What I came to realise is even though prostitution is illegal in the this hotel this hotel was full of working girls and the hotel thinks nothing of letting them check in with other guests so the hotel rooms can be used. Not saying this is unheard of in delhi but to be stopped as a guest and basically implied that I was a prostitute while I was on holiday was not a good experience! Other late evenings I would see men checking in girls and straight upstairs to the lifts, a hotel should not condole this if I wanted to stay in a brothel I would! I do not expect this treatment when I am I paying guest at the hotel on holiday with my husband.…
