location, location and utter convenience. This is all that one wants from a hotel. No frills clean COMFORT!!

nice comfortable bed, almost minimalistic aesthetics. and the best little addition was a 'no plastic' serving of all potable in-room water.

Located bang on Parliament Street, in the once happening zone of Delhi, it still is in the heart of one of the business districts of Delhi, which is contiguous to the seat of Government of India.
The lobby, reception and coffee shop are decent. The coffee shop is open late night also, which was a great boon as I returned from work nearly at midnight. However, after 11 pm, the menu is limited to a few basic items only.
The corridor leading to the room was arc shaped which had a positive visual effect. The floor was carpeted, which I personally find unhygienic in our environmental conditions and makes dragging luggage difficult.
Retiring after a taxing day, I did not find the bed linen to be reassuringly fresh. The room itself was small, but adequate for a short stay. The chairs with the coffee table were uncomfortable due to the unusually low height. Also, I found the light fixture next to the bed to be unusually low in height.
The toilet, with a minimalist design, was not clean. The faucet was rather awkward to use.
Overall, the hotel has an excellent location for business visitors having work in the vicinity and looking for a night halt. The property is obviously old and it shows.

I was staying in this hotel for a week and found the hotel is very neatly maintained. The housekeeper Tirthankar on the floor was getting all the rooms sanitized. Staff was also wearing PPE.so seeing such kind of hygiene I was very confident that I am staying in a safe place. This is so important in such a time, when you are scared that you should not get the virus transmitted. Thank you all.

Came to the hotel on 25th Jan to celebrate a relatives anniversary. At the time of parking I wanted to park myself to which I was guided to the basement in which there were lights. The basement lights were not functioning which made it a little tricky to find my way upto the porch. At the reception the staff was least bothered to remind the guests not wearing masks. Since my parents were also booked there when I went to their room, I ordered a ice bucket and after ordering immediately moved out of the room to receive one of my guests at the reception. Once I came back my father informed that the same was chargeable at INR 216 which was strange as I had never heard any hotel charging for ice and also the order taker never informed before hand. When I again inquired from Deepak he told me that the same was informed to me earlier and I was kind of surprised by the way staff lies. Then during the dinner time the server always had a answer NO for each and every query which we had. He intially refused us for a cake, then he also tried to influence our decision by convincing us over order items. Last but not the least while taking out my car, the driveway from the basement (which again did not have any lights) was filled with cars that I had to literally wait for some time before someone came to remove the car from ballet. Might not come again to this hotel as their safety protocols are also not upto the mark

We stayed for a total of 4 nights as part of a Mercury Holidays Grand Tour of North India: 2 nights at the start, 1 mid-way and our final night. The rooms were OK and we thought the food in the buffet restaurant was good. However, we, and all others in our party, found the service in the restaurant to be really poor. The casual denim attire they all wore certainly reflected their casual attitude to their work. Not one of the young men working there displayed any enthusiasm or desire to please the customers or serve us well. When table water was requested it took forever to arrive. When naan bread was requested it didn't arrive. When requests for tea/coffee were made the response was almost one of resentment. I genuinely think the team of workers is being poorly managed; the staff need to work positively and give the impression that they want to serve the customers well. I politely expressed my concerns at reception. The woman listened to what I had to say and was thoroughly professional and delightful. I really hope the management make significant improvements. I will also be suggesting to Mercury Holidays that they use an alternative hotel... all the other hotels on the tour were excellent.

I stayed here for 4 nights in January 2020 on a business trip. Although they say the hotel is 5 star, but it can be considered basic 4 star hotel. The rooms, bathrooms and interiors are quite dated. It was strange to find that they don't provide complimentary packaged drinking water which any 4/5 star hotel would provide, instead they provide RO water, and packaged drinking water is chargeable. Room service was poor and they were quite unorganised on orders. If you are looking for luxurious stay then I would suggest this hotel.

During a 17 day tour we stayed here on and off for 6 nights. The rooms are large, modern and clean. Good bathrooms and, apart from when we stayed on the 8th floor, the showers were very strong and very good. The buffet style food was excellent, about the best we experienced out of 8 different hotels we stayed at. There was a small pool and outside area, however, out of 6 nights, there were functions on 4 occasions, so the outside area was inaccessible and there was no other outside space available other than a terrace above it, however both areas were completely in shade from lunchtime onwards. Perhaps a roof terrace should be made available for those wishing to relax in the sun.
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday there is a disco so if your room is anywhere near this, expect to be kept awake by the thump of the music.
The rooms have large picture windows, however I think they might be quite old as they didn't block out the traffic noise and the street dogs barking. Also, in one room, the mould round the frame needed cleaning.
I think there would be better places to stay, however it is well situated and the staff were pretty good.

The pre-arrival experience had been well communicated with the hotel. They had responded promptly to the emails sent which honestly eases a lot especially how it was a special occasion for me and partner.

The arrival experience was nicely greeted by Sagar and the FOM. It was a nice touch to have a senior manager to meet you on arrival for your special occasion plus a cherry on a top for an upgrade we didnt even request for.

The room was spacious room, more than we had expected and the amenities for our anniversary was nicely laid out in the room. Cake was delicious!!

Breakfast was mediocre , what made up to it was the changes in some of the dishes laid out on the buffet.Perhaps the attention to guiding your guest to the tables would be a nice touch.

We had enjoyed the spa facilities , we decided last minute to have a treatment. Initially we were granted for a 60 minutes treatment however it was changed by the spa reception to 45 minutes with a reasonable charge. Normally one would be upset with a last minute change however understanding how it was already late and not a single spa staff looked upset that we were wanting to have a late treatment. This made a huge difference to one customers experience.

A shout out to Deepak and another room attendant that were taking care of our room . Always greeting us with a smile.

From the main porch, reception lobby , security staff everyone had been incredibly helpful and friendly .

We had arrived a bit late to do our late check out. The manager on duty along with the receptionist dealt with our issue in a professional manner. Thanks again for your understanding which helped a lot !

We would definitely come back again ! Thank you all for such a memorable stay.

This hotel is terrible. It was called five star, but did not understand how did they get it. Other than the taste of food and speed of room service, everything including the options on menu, waiting time for service were horrible. Despite multiple requests to provide a different room, no one gave me a room where it was a jet shower. No Vividh security norms followed. Furniture, walls, fixture everything looked to be old and forcefully refurbished by some half skilled people. Laundry was worse than a machine wash, despite fortune charges.
