During our trip round India we stayed here 3 times - each time a wonderful experience and everyone from the doorman up remembered us and welcomed us back. The staff are wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Each of our rooms was comfortable with a large bathroom and excellent toiletries. The hotel is a very short walk to Khan Market whete you will find 2 ATM machines. Breakfast was good as was the food in The Yellow Brick Road but disappointed in Larry's as it wasn't Chinese food as we known it. Highly recommended and although we have stayed in The Imperial and Claridges (the latter an experience never to be repeated we would always choose the Ambassador.

Taj Ambassador Hotel is the luxurious with heritage and elegant accommodation option in New Delhi. With its prime location, impeccable service, and comfortable rooms, wonderful foods with unparalleled hospitality. I must mention the restaurant team Apurba and Uma Shankar ji for their amazing service throughout my stay. Will return here for sure.

It's a good clean property in prime, easy access area. The staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. Specifically Uma Shankar, Apoorva, Lakpa, Ranjan, Soniya, Deepak and Pramod personally looked after us and provided excellent customer service. Breakfast buffet was great. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great please to stay with friendly service.

This property is 75 years old so the interiors are a bit old but have that vintage look. Location is perfect as it is near to the airport, shopping destinations like Sarojini Nagar Market, Chadni Chowk, Janpath, Cannought Palace etc; India Gate; Rashtrapati Bhavan etc. The Hotel has a beautiful small restaurant for all day meals which has international vibes and looks like a cafe. They serve a limited spread of breakfast but the food is good and they can prepare something special as per your needs.

One of the worst Taj properties. Rooms are very old . Not very friendly for modern day traveler . Example charging ports are very outdated. No plug or USB ports. Toilets are badly maintained . Rooms with balcony but no view. No mini bar in room. Space between bed and getting up and moving in a superior room is also bad. Only plus point is the area and shopping around the area
