We stayed at Bentley's Hotel for almost two weeks while waiting for our motorcycles to arrive from Dubai. The location is perfect. It's walking distance to all important sites. Also close to good and cheap food, shopping etc. The rooms are not perfect but the staff was nice and breakfast (Toast, Butter, Jam, Coffee and Tea) is delivered each morning....

Wouldn't stay longer than a night, great place to rest your head for cheap stay when you first arrive in Mumbai. Breakfast is more than average, has a slightly dodgy feel about it as you're led round various streets to different buildings, but once they've checked you in your left to your own devices and the rooms are clean and...

We were a family of five and were given a room across the street from the main hotel. The hotel is in need of some repairs and maintenance and I have slept on more comfortable beds. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the quiet street and was a highlight of the stay. The breakfast is very basic, toast with...

After years of travelling and reading reviews this hotel has the most deceptive reviews. Situated right in Colaba we arrived from Nepal on a late flight and got to Bentley's on 23 Dec 2016. We travelled with our two teenage kids and the site of the accommodation put a damper on the holiday. Just about everything is wrong. Nothing matches...

Let's face it, this place is run down. It's too bad because a little paint and cleansing would work wonders. But as it is the place feels a little grimy. I didn't even really want to touch the grated elevator gate because it looks so dirty and my mattress had stains on it that you could see even when the...

I stayed 3 times this month and the room in the building across the street was by far the best. Everything worked, the water was hot, the staff was nice, there were quite a few book shelves for exchange, and the location on a quiet street at the less busy end of Colaba is a plus. Wifi was good.

I checked late at night. Desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was a good size. Sheets and towels seemed clean but no longer white - grey (old) linens pretty typical in this level of hotel. A/C was good, although remote was broken and I had to stand on the bed to turn it on and off. Phone was broken....

I stayed twice in this hotel in the last few months. First time we had a big room on the ground floor, it was spacious but fill with mold. The sheets were Indian clean (not all white but washed) but humid. Was probably because of the weather (moonson) but still, doesn't take long to keep the windows open once a...

This one is for budget travellers , set in a very good location , between Gateway of India and Colaba . This is the only plus point . The room I stayed in had a couple of cockroaches . I tried killing a few. I did not want to raise my voice because I did not want to run around...

Unfortunately the questions asked were required by direction of the police who had given the same just a couple of days prior to the arrival of the guest. It was asked because we felt it better to ask ourselves rather thn the guest being question later by the police. When they came for checking, the details were conveyed to the...

The location is decent, and so is the price, but you will definitely get better places for the same price. The rooms are located in different buildings, very few rooms are good and worth the price justified. The bigger rooms in the main building are grand and British-like. But it is very hard to avail this room.
