It is difficult to find a decent place in Mumbai for a cheap price. Sea Shore is a good choice with a perfect location (very close to the Gate of India and other tourist sights). Shared toilets are clean and rather modern, rooms are quite clean (compared to other budget hotels around). However, there are also disadvantages: poor Wi-Fi, check-in...

Spotless rooms and bathrooms, everything is also well maintained. Seashore is on the 4th floor, but someone from the hotel will help with your bags (tips are appreciated!) There is another hotel on floor 3 run by the same people, for an extra 100 rupees it's worth staying in the seashore. Book ahead if you can and get a room...

A fine budget option in Mumbai. The rooms and shared bathrooms are basic but pretty clean. The main draw here is the location—couldn’t be more convenient for exploring Mumbai. Be aware that half of the rooms have no window and two twin beds, so if you want a window view or a double bed, be sure to specify…they make things...

Very clean rooms, well-kept bathrooms and toilets, friendly service - really helpful when it comes to order a cab, exchange money, etc. Wonderful view from the very top floor. Highly recommended ! Would definitely come back to this place !

If you stay at seashore you get extremely clean rooms and bathrooms. It feels very safe. The price is great 700rp for a single room. In colaba you won't get anything better for that price. The staff helps you if you have any questions. The location next to the water is perfect. I would give seashore a 5 if the...

The biggest draw to the Seashore is how kind, helpful and friendly the guys who run it are. Not only that but the rooms are very cheap for Colaba/Mumbai, and spotlessly clean, and comfortable (there are singles for R700, though there weren't any available when I was there). There are three shared shower rooms, which are regularly cleaned throughout the...

Stayed here for 3 nights, unfortunately got a room on the wrong side due to last minute reservation. But there's hot water, the staff is nice and helpful, and they even let me shower in the evening after checking out, gave me a room that was free to change and rest before my flight free of charge and invited me...

I reviewed this place five years ago and have stayed here on three other occasions. However, this is the last time i'll stay here. I rang and reserved a room and when I arrived was shown a single room. That room was occupied so I was told i'd have to wait for a double room which would be vacant that...

Very nice, clean hotel and friendly staff at a reasonable price. Nice view of the Arabian Sea. Excellent location right next to the Gateway of India. I was very pleased during my stay there. The gentleman working at the front desk was very helpful to us, and always gave us excellent advice about where to go shopping, eat, etc. Strongly...

Mumbai is noticeably more expensive than most other cities in India, so it was difficult accepting the fact that we'd likely have to pay more for a hotel with fewer amenities. Luckily we found SeaShore! The Good: Set in a rather quiet (for India) side street in Colaba, this was a fantastic budget accommodation. Great location for Southern Mumbai sight...
