Umaid Bhawan enjoys a reputation for its spotless heritage charm and comfortable rooms, though some guests note the rooms can feel snug or slightly outdated. The convenience of its quiet location is applauded, despite being a bit removed from the city's bustle. With a traditional Rajasthani atmosphere, complete with live music and dance performances, the hotel's cultural vibe is a hit among guests.
The attentive staff and clean facilities are consistently recognized, just as the well-regarded amenities, including rooftop dining and a pool, though space by the pool can be limited. Overall, the hotel is considered a good value for the experience it offers.

This incredible fantastic “palace” offered you a splendid time! Without this lovely hotel the visit in Jaipur wouldn’t be so nice!
We got a nice room but the view was not so nice so the hotel gave us another room. We were so happy for that!
The balcony was beautiful and the room gave us a feeling that we were like maharajas!
The pool is clean and fresh in a lovely place.
The sun chairs were comfortable.
The hotel has everywhere nice small places where you can sit and read a book.
The reception staff was professional and Mr. Shrawan helped us to find a doctor and Mr. Bharah arranged our train tickets.
The rooftop restaurant was great with a chef who had been working in Qatar. He grilled lovely tasty grill platter!
It was tempting to just stay at the hotel but Jaipur has to be seen!

We stayed there for 3 nights in room 201 which was perfect for three people. The room had a balcony overlooking the courtyard garden and the decor was all rajasthani theme. Right from the check in to check out time, we were looked after very well, have no reason to write anything negative about the hotel or the staff. The breakfast was served on the rooftop, ample seating and sufficient variety to cater to everyone's tastes. Poori sabji, parantha, bread, eggs, masala dosa, tea coffee etc. The staff went out of the way to ensure that each guest was served hot food, tea especially Shyam who served us with great warmth and looked after us very well. The room was very spacious, the air conditioner worked well, free wi fi, slippers, towels, shampoo, hair dryer, drinking water, kettle, tea coffee sachets all came with the room. The mattress was a little too springy for my liking, that's the only fault I can find with my hotel stay. It's a beautiful property, although not very large but location is great. Many restaurants are located near by. All in all a great choice of hotel, you wouldn't regret it.

Excellent hotel got upgraded to a four poster bedroom on arrival free of charge very large and spacious with separate dressing room safe and wet room . Tv and WiFi air conditioning and heat mini bar at great rates cheaper than some shops. Veranda looking out over the internal gardens. Lift access available to all floors. Open air dining or internal dining available weather permitting. Nightly entertainment local dancers 7-9 pm. Food good drinks typical hotel prices so bit pricey. Breakfast good assortment including freshly made omelet to order or fried to order. Staff very courteous from front of house to housekeeping and could not do enough for you we will return.

We would like to share that umaid bhawan is the one of the best heritage property in jaipur
Which is well maintained .
Staff is well Educated ,well groomed
Rooms are tidy and well maintained
Food is quite good
If you are traveling with family you will surely visit this heritage property once
We can clearly see the ancient interior and antique master pieces here
Which gives us feel like we are here in a palace.
At the last special thanks to Mr ajay and Mr mayur. The chef who made delicious dosa and omlette as per my palate.

Although it is a small property but still it's a wonderful hotel !!!
Food quality, hospitality and cleniness are the USP for this property.
Although we stayed for a single day due to the current preveling situation, I wish I could have stayed mych longer.
Hotel staff took extra care and sanitized the entire luggage and the entire room before we were allowed to enter the hotel.
It's really a great value for money !!!

From the moment we entered through the large brass door into the beautifully decorated interior, it was clear this is a special hotel. The room was very comfortable. The rooftop restaurant and bar provides excellent food and drink at a very reasonable price compared to other hotels of this quality - with an added bonus of music and dance in the evening.

We are a family of 4 with young adults and had very bad experience in this hotel and it was the first time we experienced this in India during our trip in Rajasthan.
The rooms are very nice and coming with outside tables available for everyone. On the 8th January a group of 15 customers organised a party just in front of our room. From 10pm we asked many times the reception to calm down the people as they were sitting just 1meter from our room ( almost every rooms have some common tables in front but not private, nice to have a small drink but not a party ) .
Until 3am the receptionist was unable to stop them even though it's his responsibility. The people of the party were drinking , music , shouting , kids running everywhere. This hotel is also very poorly soundproofed, so you will hear every steps.
Last call for the reception at 2am for nothing again. Absolutely unacceptable. The worst, the following day , no apologies from the same receptionist and not even one commercial gesture even though we claimed for it. Totally unprofessional for a 4 stars hotel. To sum up, don't go there if you really want a relax time because the night receptionist is unable to manage the unexpected.

In a relatively quiet neighborhood this charming heritage house provides a rich ambience. Each room has a balcony that faces into the hotel. Decorations and artwork in each spacious room make you feel like royalty. The restaurant serves delicious meals and at dinner there is an entertainment group providing local music and dance (average). The rooftop dining setting is gorgeous. Complimentary breakfast is a fairly elaborate and a good way to start the day. Staff is very courteous and friendly. We availed ourselves of the hotel car tours which are flexible to the sites you want to visit. Our driver was entertaining and knowledgeable although he spoke hindi (which we are ok with). Overall far exceeded my expectations for the price.

The hotel is a beautiful heritage hotel. Every floor is decorated differently & exquisitely with plenty of seating on every floor. The free breakfast buffet offers plenty of variety with a chef to cook you eggs, any way you like. The beds were comfortable & the staff was very accommodating. My only complaint was is our room was not cleaned the 1st day & when we asked they said we had to request this & leave the key, however no one told us this. They did clean it the next day , when we did this. I highly recommend this hotel. Loved it, so much to see on each floor & sit outside or inside.

Beautiful looking hotel with terrible service. Would not recommend staying. It would be better to go in, take a few photos for instagram and stay somewhere else. The check in staff was not at all friendly, no one brought us to our room or gave us any information about the hotel, WiFi, where the restaurant was, pool hours, etc. We entered our room to find no space to even get to the opposite side of the bed. So much furniture in the room. We requested a cot because we were a room of 3 and we could not even walk around the cot. We had to move furniture out of the room that had 3 to sleep into our second room we booked which had only 2 people in it to make space to walk to the other side of the bed. After rearranging our room we eventually found the restaurant and ordered several dishes for dinner and about 2/3 into the meal the we found a hair in one of the koftas. We requested to speak to the manager and it took asking two staff members and several minutes for the manager to come to us and he had nothing to say to remedy the situation beyond taking the koftas off the bill. We left the restaurant and and came back to the room to shower and the shower was cold. We had to call to ask for someone to fix the geyser, apparently it was off and we were unable to turn it on ourselves. I am a foreigner in a group of 5 people, the rest in the group are from India and we were incredibly dissatisfied with the service. We messaged management and called and they had nothing to say expect to leave the feedback on a form upon checkout. We were very happy to only be staying a night here because we would have cancelled any other nights booked as it was such bad service.
