Recently on our trip to Salem, we stayed in this hotel for two days, it was quite good experience , the rooms are quite accomdative, well equipped with basic amenities, suitable air-conditioned, the waiters were not soo professional in handling the customers, the check out and check in was a huge Himalayan task in this hotel, the parking facility should...

Hotel is not for family and vacation. Photos are representative of actual and give very false impression. Lobby seems like a run down mill. Towels provided were smelly and musshy. Cigarette smoke for next rooms were irritating. Overall experience is poor.

The room shown in the Cleartrip Review was not the same as the one we were allotted. We had to pay 600 rupees extra to upgrade from Std AC Double to Delux AC Double. Also, the lack of room service miht be a deterrent, although they did offer to bring food from outside as ordered. And the location is such...

Hotel room was clean, shower was hot, bed was comfy, laundry service was fast (4 hours) and tv had cable. Location was good too - there are plenty of shops nearby and it's a short drive or 20 minute walk to the beach and Express Mall. Overall we thought this place was great value for money and would happily stay...

We stayed at Hotel Himalaya for 3 nights in a non A/C room. Our room was clean and had cable TV which was great considering the price! We did have a few mosquitoes in our room upon arrival (pretty standard for most places in India!) Though the staff were quick to act and gave us mosquito coils to rectify. The...

I stayed at Hotel Himalaya Residency for 5 nights from 12th March. Please form your own opinion based on the information in this review. Check-in is 24hr. I was going to sit in the lobby from 8.30am and check in at 10am, so I wouldn't have to check out until 10am on my last day. The receptionist said I could...

Was referred to by my friends and must thank them for the choice. The hotel is about 10 mins from the railway station and walking distance from the beach. There is also a nearby shopping strip (cant remember the name of the road) which has great bargains on clothes and shoes. The room was comfortable and for the cost (Rs....

Had a good experience. A budget hotel with good clean and spacious rooms. No restaurant however the area has several good eateries serving both veg and non-veg food. I stayed twice for a week each time.

Very clean rooms and helpful staff. Compared to other hotels, this one stands out for value (economically priced but good clean rooms). Close to Marina beach (Was able to walk to beach and shopping centres).
