Detailed Reviews
My office had booked this hotel since it was close to my next day meeting spot and airport which is center of the city. I stayed in this hotel from period of 12th to 13th Feb 2015. The hospitality of the hotel employee for arranging food is very poor (they don't mind whether you have food or not). The complimentary breakfast also doesn't include even some of the common items like dosa, juice, etc (only idli, chuttney and sambar is complimentary). I took the hotel's car in package for a day which was my worst part, the driver doesn't have manor to behave and till date i have not received their travel's bill (as paid) even after several reminders from my office as well.

I personaly would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay in Chennai to do shopping. Hotel has all necessary facilities, clean, comfortable, wifi 24/7 with a good veg restaurant which is always packed. Opposite this hotel, there are two money change centres, ayurvedic centres, medical shops and the best restaurant I visited is just next door, i.e. Appu's Madurai Chetinat Restaurant, the Chetinat fish curry, rasam and fried chicken (tandoori sytle) was the best I have ever eaten. Adding to it, this hotel is right in the hub of T-Nagar shopping area, walkable distance to Renganathan Street, Saravanan Stores, Kumarans & Pothys. When we were tired, we walked back to the hotel to rest and then continue shopping. Perhaps there was only a minor disatisfaction about the bathroom because there was no supply of toilet tissues and the water in the bath area took time to subside. Also, when checking out, we had to remind the reception so many times to send thier porters to carry our bags. Otherwise, I was so happy with my travel agent, Mr Rajkumar to recommended this hotel to us. The next time, we will surely stay in this hotel

It was during August 2013. Checked in with a group of friends. The bed sheets had some stains , needed to be changed and had to remind them a couple of times about it. The buffet breakfast was yummy. The coffee was served with fresh milk and the waiters' were helpful. The hotel is just a 5 mins walking distance to all the famous saree shops. There was a pharmacy close by. Being vegetarians, the hotel also had a vegetarian restaurant. We had good food food and good sleep. Overall, it was a good stay.

This is the one of the worst hotel I have ever been to. I don’t know why these hotels are not black listed.
I booked a room for 311.46.
When i contacted the property the manger Madavan told me he cannot give the room for that price mentioned in the booking, however he will give the room for 1500. When I went physically the women in the reception said she needs 2000 a room. When I went called Madavan he didn’t answer the phone either.
I came with my family with my mum immediately after a surgery.
I seriously don’t know how they cheat like this.
Don’t ever go there 😡

We booked 3 rooms on the 16/04/2014 and arrived at the hotel at about 430am. We checked in and told the night staff we will until about 10.00am to go into our rooms so that we will not be charged an additional day when we check out the next day. The night staff told me it was alrite for us to go into our rooms and we will not be charged as we are all tamillians.
So we went into our rooms . The next day when we wanted to check out we had to pay an additional day. The Manager was so rude and behaved unethically and refused to listen to our part of the story. He was so bloody rude, did not come to help us solve the problem but just stayed in his room and told us to pay when we went in to see him. The money for me to pay was of no issue , but the way the Manager handled the issue was so embarrassing.I will never step into BKR ever again because the issue was not handled with respect for the customers and comfort with all cheats and lies. Beware when you check in and out !!!!!!!!!!!

I stayed in this hotel during my last trip to Chennai upon hearing of it from friends. The only reason why I chose this hotel was it was situated in T-Nagar.My did I regret my decision !
The only thing that looks about acceptable about this hotel is the lobby.Everything else just does not measure up.
The people at the front desk behave as if they are doing you a favour by having you stay at their hotel. The lift was run-down.The pathway to the rooms look more like they belong to a lodge than a hotel of this suppossed stature.
The bathroom was a sham, the bedlinens were dirty and the bath mat was even worse. It was so dirty that it looked like it was not replaced after the last guest had vacated the room.
The thing that takes the cake was their room service. It was NON-EXISTENT.After calling the number numerous times without any answer,I had called the operator who promised to send someone over but nothing happened.I then contacted the front desk. They promised to send someone over and again nothing happened. In the end the last time I called the front desk,I was informed that the room service was no longer available for the day ....
There was no free wifi and the complimentary breakfast was nothing to shout about. Two or three items served in one rundown corner of the ground floor vegetarian restaurant.
Never staying in this hotel again and neither will I recommend this hotel to anyone else.

I stayed in the hotel in July. Found the bath room in bad condition with phlegm found on the floor on my first shower, really disgusting. Toilet smelt of moth balls, room too. Tendency to put moth balls all around the room. Bed sheets were yellowish, not sure how clean it was.
Breakfast was at the basement tucked in a corner with not much variety. Discothque blares loud music on Saturdays, no good night sleep.
Overall not a good choice of hotel.

Booking this hotel was very easy, we contacted the reception, and everything was handled by this guy, Sameer who was very helpful and pleasant.
However, the rooms are not that great. I booked a total of 4 rooms, and one of the rooms was not cleaned well, there were still stuff left by previous occupant in the room! Other room floors were dirty and dusty and generally, the rooms are a little smelly. My bathroom was extremely smelly, even after asking the cleaner to clean it, to the point i had to cover my nose with a cloth before using the bathroom. I have no idea where the smell was coming from.
The towels were worn out and threadbare. When they cleaned my room the next day, the towels were removed and not replaced. There are always people walking up and down the corridor and checking in late, so don't expect to have a good deep sleep. Everyone is just to excited with shopping :-)
It is just behind the famous TNagar, which is a shopping haven so this is the perfect location to shop till you drop. The breakfast buffet is limited and looks a little dirty, no one cleans the place so if you are late, expect to see spills and crumbs on the buffet table unwiped. Couldn't find better restaurants to eat here except the in house restaurant itself. The food here is good, especially the fried mushroom and baby corn. We had our dinner here twice, and the waiters are very attentive.
Stay here if you can stand dirty rooms just for the sake of convinience to shop. Otherwise, there are better hotels for the same price.

Worst Stay Ever. No one is recommended to stay.
Payed INR 5500 per night. Rooms were not arranged. No soap, no toilet paper, no towels, no water, shower cubicles flooding.
Useless room survice.
Corridors full of water with leaking roofs. Damages ceilings.
Walk way to the restaurant 5th floor all damaged stairs.
Two lifts one out of order, other lift working occasionally.
Similar to a cattle shed.
