It is the worst hotel I have stayed in my life. I stayed in the ground floor and the complete room and area was full of phenol smell. My kids were having wheezing problem. So I didn't stay more than half a day. Just checked out. My other relatives staying in first floor didn't have much issue of the smell....

Only positive thing is near for all shopping places, and avg veg food. Definitely not worth for money... 3star charges with zero star service. Old rooms, less cleanly. Mosquitoes, blankets n beds r very poor... may b years old. Food is average. Staff will expect money even after changing bedsheets. Water bottle costs 48rs. We can't get Kinley or bislery....

Very old restaurant, but maintained well. Neat and clean. Good ambience. We took Idli sambar and Dosa. Both are very good. Good place for south Indian food. Main advantage is - huge parking facility, very near to central and egmore railway stations. Service also not bad.

Checked in this hotel in last week. Overall facilities are good. Well connected from the city area even the airport is just 20 kms away from this hotel. Service is good. Food is okay. Famous places like Marina beach, Cricket stadium and Madras university are very near to this hotel.

For the tariff, you could get a better more sophisticated and cleaner room. But the room is big, the hotel has its olden days' hotel charm, ppl are friendly. The food here is trademark, safe and non spicy -tasty too. Very hygienically prepared. But if you stay here more than two days, one does get bored of the bland food....

Good value for money, especially for the mid-range budget business traveler! the restaurant is excellent for their thali (platter) fixed menu south-Indian and north-Indian meals. They have a couple of neat lawns allowing for outdoor event!
