The resort's surrounding is fantastic with lots of greenery and scenic view around. The farm has a variety of plantations and a small tea garden. Early morning walk into the farm with views of surrounding hills is an awesome sight. Navin's (the owner) favourite pets will accompany you everytime and everywhere. The tents are big enough and easily accomodate 3...

Dear Mahesh, Thank you for your valuable feedback. Sorry to hear that you had issues with transportation and the signboards. We have tried to install them in strategic locations like you mentioned but we have been victim of vandalism and signboards thrown away. Most drivers should know this simply by asking for directions, Tathagata Farm is the only one catering...

A destination one should surely visit. Just an hour's drive from Darjeeling, located at a small village called Lebong with very less population. One need to reserve a taxi from Lebong Taxi Stand, Darjeeling. A fantabulous and something out of the world, where one can spend time with themself and with the nature as well. The sound of murmuring of...

Once in a while you come across a place to stay during your travels that turns out to be a second home. Tathagata farm was one such place for us. Navin and his team made us feel at home, going out of the way to take care of all our comforts. Their flexibility to make arrangements for treks and sightseeing...

We spent two nights at this farm stay run by Navin Tamang. It is located around 18 KM from Darjeeling - you have to take turn (right fork) at Lebong. The property is at a much lower altitude than Darjeeling. The path way from the road to the farm house is quite steep (probably takes 5 to 7 minutes) and...

Me and my wife travelled to North east India and in Darjeeling, we chose Tathagata farm. It is an excellent property neither too close nor too far from Darjeeling. We loved our cottages. They are very basic but quite clean and comfortable. Hot water is provided on request. The food is prepared in an open area and it is very...

Nothing like escaping the hot summer days in the laps of the HImalayas. I booked Tathagata Farm away from the maddening crowd of Darjeeling not just to escape the heat from the plains of Kochi but also to connect with the nature and simplicity. I just found a perfect place that i will go back to again. Incredible setting with...

This place was like heaven after our long journey to get there. We used the airport transfer to get here and thought the price was fair. We were glad that we hadn't tried to get there on our own with public transport as it was definitely not a straightforward route! It took us 4 hours to drive from Bagdogra Airport....
