You can book online but they don't have an email address with which to contact them, which means that it is a very expensive phone call if you are from abroad. They stayed open late for us as our flight was very late at night. Asked for a double room but got a twin even though could see empty double...

What do you do if you are on a shoestring budget in Kolkata? If you need to spend the night in a really budget hotel to just rest for a couple of hours, this is the place to go.. But be forewarned - the beds are not comfortable, the rooms are not clean enough, and the room service is slow.....

Very dirty hotel. Floors were very dirty. Toilets were not cleaned at all. No remote for AC was given to customer. Geyser was not working. I had to go to ground floor from 4th floor several times to bring hot water for my child. No room service at all. Bed sheets and blankets was not clean (filled with human hair).

Very good hotel. Sardarji at reception was very helpful. Well maintained rooms and toilet. The only issue was there was no good restaurants near the hotel. Only Bangladeshi cuisine was available there.

The hotel is small but very much maintained and neat and clean. Service from staffs are well respond. Staffs are very good in manner and helpful. Only thing is the ground floor entry is required to be cleaned especially near the steps beside the "Dhansiri Restaurant." The location is very much prime and very exclusive for offices as well as...

It is a bit of a grim old place but if you aren't a fussy type it's really not that bad. The location is very good and is the best thing about this place. Staff at the reception are a bit charmless and the place isn't the cleanest but it's good value for money and I always felt the place...

Very Good location, budget hotel. Shohag Bus to Dhaka is just opposite side of the hotel and green line bus to Dhaka is 3 min walk. New market is 5 min walk. But you can't expect much from it. AC rooms are clean but others are not so.

We have failed to locate any guest from Pune by name 'Sanjiv' in our current records . His allegation that hotel has rats & cockroaches & rooms are dirty is quite baffling to us . We would be happy if guest can provide details of his alleged stay so that we can investigate . We guarantee him full refund if...

We booked the oriental hotel for three nights. After a long days travel we arrived later in the evening to find the hotel closed! After knocking on all the doors, the two of us (2, 22 year old girls), had to walk around the streets of Kolkata alone at 1 am looking for a hotel that could have us for...

This is normal practice of most small budget hotels . Guests checking in late inform beforehand & also ought to carry reception phone number available on booking site...
