Me, my wife and my 03 year old son stayed at hotel Diplomat. I was in Room no.106, room has no window and there is large open space above room door. At night anybody can peep in that room from that open space. Squeaking bed was a worst experience. As our train was at 10 pm, we check-out and kept...

we were couples wanted to go to Gangtok, however we have to stay a night, Keeping in mind our budget I have selected this hotel and I too had some offer on various websites. A good budget hotel with clean room. If you want to get best service contact the proprietor of the hotel, Mr. Singh. The location is superb, near new market ...variety of food stalls nearby, shopping places, bars, malls, kfc, dominos, etc.etc..am still here for few days in kol. and staying in thw same hotel.

very clean rooms and a very good price. stuff is very helpful. in bigger cities in india it is always difficult to find a cheap and decent place. I have seen around 10 other places near sudderstreet and either they are totally overpriced, or too small and smelly. only drawback: no windows, but this makes the rooms more quiete. more...

The room is small,toilet is clean and comfortable. The fan has loud noise. The waiter is hearted and passionate,very kindly. The sunlight is black. The location is near city centure,it’s so convinent to go to the India museum and Mother house.

a comfortable hotel at a reasonable price. clean, spacious rooms with lcd tv sets. co-operative staff and booking done over phone at any time of day and night. plenty restaurants, shopping centres, currency exchange, banks, pharmacies, doctors etc are nearby. near to park street metro station. all in all a value for money hotel.

The rooms are smelly and disgusting. I had done my payment online and booked a room, when I visited for the check in, they had no prior information for the payment being made. After check in, suddenly a plumber comes behind me to the room and starts to repair the W.C in the bathroom! I was astonished by the act....

Rooms stinkc a loot... very very very poor customer service..u will have to ask for everything like for soap, pillow etc,,the price is too high and the people try to loot u by charging high price,,, never ask the hotel guys to arrange taxi for u,,
