We've been here for 4 days and have 2 more nights to go. Summer campers have taken all the good spots. Only sites left are the tiny ones that are on top of each other. My slide hangs over our neighbors pad it its a tiny slide. The mosquitoes are awful on the entire island due to standing water everywhere....

We made reservations and were charged a $99 deposit. we had to cancel our entire trip. the cancellation fees for 6 other campgrounds were only 93 dollars total. The cancellation fee for this campground was $99. outrageous!

It's a very quiet campground just right by the beach. Pitched a tent there and spent the night. Very helpful. It is the perfect place for children. Very family oriented. The entire center of the campground is a playground for the kids. The bathhouse could use some updating. But very good experience.

I've camped (primitive, in tent) in some wonderful parks, mostly state parks, over the years. I've stayed in Grayton beach in Fla, St Andrews in Fla, Bahai Honda in the florida keys, Grand Canyon park, Yellowstone park, Greers Ferry in Arkansas, and a state park in Michigan (forgot the name). This is by far the worst park I've ever seen....

We were taken aback with how friendly this rv campground is. Appears that a majority of the campers are return customers for several years running as snowbirds getting away from the colder states above!!! Our site was perfect(#5) as we had a tow vehicle and a super c 35' trailer and only had to walk across the street in order...

When I want to get away to the beach, but don't want to go to a beach that is touristy, such as Panama City Beach, Daytona, or Hilton Head, then I'd head here. Very reasonably priced campground at about ~$35/night. They had full hook-ups and spaces to fit different size RV's. The spaces were not packed together like some campgrounds....

Loved the easy beach access. Was a little worried about rain after reading other reviews, but we had all sunny weather so no flooding issues. Wonderful place to buy fresh seafood close by...Skinners. Husband caught hammerhead shark fishing from the beach. Camped here in a motor home. All sizes of rigs, some long-term, and some tents. WiFi signal weak. Nice,...

This is a nice hidden gem of a campground that we will definitely go back to. This campground is steps away from a private (dog friendly) beach and boarders on the Audubon Bird Sanctuary with trail heads to both the beach and Sanctuary on site. The sites are nice, shady, and kid and dog friendly. There is a laundry on...

With a bird sanctuary attached to the campsite, and the ocean only steps away, we loved our stay here. The gulf offers warm waters, and Dauphin Island is a hidden gem along its shores. Fishing is fantastic. Facilities at the campsite are well maintained, the owners are accessible and flexible on payment should you need to leave early. All in...

My wife and I had never heard of Dauphin Island until we were invited to go camping with friends of ours. I'm not a big Gulf Coast guy for to me, it's not really the ocean but we thought might as well go, if nothing else just to be with our friends. We are both certainly glad we did !...
