Lovely B&B -- clean and tastefully decorated. This is a beautiful spot close to all the shopping, restaurants and outdoor activities. We enjoyed the personal attention from Cynthia (the proprietor) , the quiet pretty room, and the breakfast. Cynthia made sure we had a selection of cereal, since we don't eat a lot of baked goods (or calories) at breakfast,...

The Mentone Inn is set on top of Lookout Mtn. in Alabama near art, nature and craft wonders. The peaceful setting allows time to enjoy sitting on the porch, eating the divine brunch offered occasionally, walking nature trails to waterfalls, enjoying local art, pottery and glassware. Enjoy time away from the business of everyday at this charming inn.

I loved staying at the Mentone Inn. This was my second stay and it was exceptional as was the first time. The inn keeper is so personable and feels like a long time friend. The breakfast is phenomenal and the rooms are so comfortable. The house was built in 1927 and is adorable. The town of Mentone is so quaint...

Wonderful, restful weekend at the Mentone Inn. We were welcomed graciously as we arrived and made to feel at home immediately. This was my first B and B and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and comfortable the experience was. Cynthia is a natural at making you feel welcome. The host of Mentone Inn, Cynthia, has gone the extra mile to provide a quaint and comfortable stay at the top of this mountain village. Relax by the fireplace and chat with other visitors, walk down to the village and see the shops. You might even catch a folk concert in the gazebo. Settle in upstairs in your cozy little...

I always like to start by saying that I've been in the travel business for over 20 years... I'm not easily impressed. We visited the Mentone Inn for a weekend with friends. As soon as we walked in the door, Cynthia the Innkeeper greeted us with, "Welcome to my home". A fire in the fireplace and cozy couch's in the...

What a wonderful breakfast buffet!! It isn't even required that you stay here (but why wouldn't you, it's so soulful)!! Tomato pie, cheese grits, biscuits gravy, conehca sausages, hashbrown casserole, eggs florentine, French toast casserole, chocolate covered strawberries. Coffee(not the greatest), juice or milk. It was amazing!!!
