I stayed at 'the hobbit' in February 2013. It's a beautiful villa and feels like a hobbit. Slightly hidden and can be seen only from the beach. We visited the place in early Oct. 2014. The villa in itself is good. Nice interiors & Right in front of the beach. But don't get fooled by its appearance. Hi! we booked " the hobbit" from 21st to 23rd March and probably had my worst stay ever. The location and the villa itself are good but people managing it can't be worse. The AC was not working in any of the rooms and it was extremely hot. When we complained the caretaker "ramesh" said that the electrician would come...

Awsome is the single word to describe this guesthouse. On a small hill, its right smack on Anjuna Beach and yet no one from the beach can see you. It has 3 bedrooms,ensuite and generally the whole place has to be booked together. Usually the upmarket Travel Agents from Europe book it well in advance. And yes its expensive ...but...
