I stayed at Ringos a short time but it was enough to get in contact, have a nice Indian food and watch star wars whole night. The rooms are basic but clean and the staff is very nice. Highly Recommended!

Soooo, if you choose this hostel, don't expect airconditioned rooms (there are fans though) and super clean toilets; the rooms are kinda dark, it's pretty warm since there's no AC and the toilets are only OK, make sur to bring your own towel and soap since there is none. BUT, if you're not too fuzzy about that sort of stuff,...

I hated this place and was very glad that I only spent one night here. Booked an aircon private room. The sheet was so thin that it was almost transparent and it wasnt big enough so it keeps coming out at the sides, the floor was dirty, the room was so dimly lit, the included breakfast was actually just a...

I stayed at Ringo's out of season, when there were hardly any guest at the hostel. Therefore I can't talk about its social vibe first hand. Still, judging from its creative, eclectic and rock-in-roll style and the set-up of the common areas, it's a fun place. My private room and the shared shower were basic, but everything was well-maintained, clean...

Was a nice cool area. Definitely recommend going on a Friday Saturday and Sunday. Only downside was we needed to check out at 7 and no one was around to help us check out and we were searching for the staff for a while. But the place itself was nice and well kept

It is located very near to the tourist area -- Jonker's Walk (about 5 minutes walk).. the surroundings are quiet :) It has affordable room rates and the place is clean :) I will consider staying there again the next time I visit Melaka..

Probably the friendliest and outgoing Hostel owner we have met yet. We arrived un announced with all of our music gear and we he helped us get it upstairs, offered us a seat and a coffee before we spoke about anything else. We are stayed on the rooftop which has plenty of space and is the preferred communal area of...

I've had a chance to stay in Ringo's Foyer Guest House a while ago and have to admit that it was one of most adventurous times of my life. Not only is Howard is the person who keeps this place tidy but also makes you enjoy every hour you dedicate to Melaka. His entrepreneurial personality will make you feel like...
