If you are driving into Melaka, Cyclamen Cottage would be a great choice. Value for money and it has its own parking lots. It's also not along the same stretch as Jonker, so you (kind of) avoid the traffic jam on weekends.

This hotel gives you a feeling that you have been taken back to ancient time as the cottage has colonial architectural style. Cottage though look historic but are well maintained.

Enjoyed the 2 nights' stay in Cyclamen Cottage..nice view..Staff is friendly and the breakfast served delicious:)Is better to have own transport for you to go to Jonker Street..Because you will not wan to walk under the hot sunny day:)
There are two separate buildings each adjacent to each other on two different sides of the street. The accommodation is really enjoyable and the hosts (Chris and Cindy) are really engaging and accommodating.
