A very friendly, welcoming hotel. All the staff went out of their way to assist, from the front desk to the breakfast staff, nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely furnished room overlooking the courtyard & view of the river. Breakfast was fabulously laid out with plenty to support all tastes from Western to Asian food. Proximity to most of the famous sights were in walking distance ( right out of the main entrance) & if not take a Grab. The hotel also have a courtesy bus, twice a day, to the Megamall- great for a rainy day- just have to book your space with the front desk. 99 store & 24hr mini market 5-10 mins walk, left of the hotel, as well as a local food court. All in all a super, friendly hotel that I would definitely be visiting again. We enjoyed our stay and celebration for our son. Check in was easy, breakfast was delicious. Location was convenient. Faiz the FO manager was so helpful and polite. Will definately come here next time! Only thing we usually use valet front lot parking due to a bad experience in another hotel before. But we had to send 4 emails for valet parking before we got a reply pre arrival.

Sadly this hotel did not live up to its expectations; we stayed for three nights in three separate river view rooms. The air conditioner took overnight to kick in and overall the hotel needs a facelift, its worn out Breakfast was very disappointing, what food was offered, looked like it had been sitting there for a while, fruit pieces just chopped up, without much attention to detail as in most hotels, and the hot food was warm to cold. We did not eat here after the first day The rooftop pool was nice, and again, could do with a freshen up. The location was great but otherwise I would not stay here again

We have mixed views while reviewing this hotel. On a positive note, the hotel is well situated for visiting the UNESCO site with all locations within easy walking distance. The room was spacious and reasonably well appointed. The roof top pool was refreshing and afforded a great view over the river. However, with the exception of Suliana, the standard of service was not what we expected. While the pool was great, with no one manning the bar, there was no way of ordering drinks or food without going back to our room. When our meal arrived, the French fries were cold and the following day, our drinks order never arrived. Overall, the environment did not feel welcoming.

Overall great stay with my mom. The river view room is beautiful. Perhaps the housekeeping can clean the cigarettes butts at the balcony flower area and maintenance to fix the broken pipes as the water kept flowing 24/7. Surprisingly there is no bathrobes in the room. I wish they could provide a better quality of hair dryer. Breakfast is great with the seating outside by the river.

This was our first time staying in this hotel despite our previous numerous trip to Melaka. Unfortunately it was just a one night business/leisure trip. Wished we have stayed here sooner in the past and longer as everything were fantastic from the location, ambience, decor/settings, food taste and quality, cleanliness and service & hospitalities from the staffs. Just planned our next trip to come back in 2 weeks time!
