The hotel is out dated. The bed sheet has some dirty stains and the window cannot open. Breakfast choice was limited.Well, it has the history feeling, yes. There is a little museum inside the hotel. Good thing is the location, near Jonker street and the sight seeing place.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Puri. A wonderful historic boutique hotel just around the corner from Jonker st. The hotel is beautifully maintained with lots of antiques everywhere. There is a wonderful shady courtyard with a water feature that is a relaxing, cool area to enjoy a drink after being out in the heat. Staff were all very friendly...

I'm glad we chose Hotel Puri as our accommodation in Malacca. Conveniently located within walking distance to Jonker Street, we didn't have to worry about food or shopping as there were many shops and restaurants nearby catering the local dishes, delicacies and souvenirs. I particularly love the heritage-style decoration, giving us the relaxing vacation feeling. The staff was efficient and...

I chose this hotel to try a less formal/ well known hotel and with cultural decorations befitting the place visited for the first time. The room rate was affordable, within the budget of all of my friends. The place was rather beautiful, I was impressed and we had the superior quad room, which was just perfect for the four of...

First time to visit Melaka and I decided to try a new type of accommodation.I wanted the boutique/heritage style. One of my friends recommended the hotel to me and then I read the reviews about it which encouraged me to book there. I have read many reviews about hotels there but in reality most of them are not as good...

Old style hotel, dont expect for a modern and grand one. No lift, you have to climb to your room with the staircase. If you have many luggages with you, it would be troublesome and tiring. Not much service, Front office service was so so only. They are busy, and they tend to ignore if you dont voice up. They...

Stumbled upon this hotel while looking for an accommodation for a quick getaway during the Chinese New Year holidays. Booked a night stay at this hotel. Overall was happy with our stay here. It was an old peranakan building which has been upgraded to a hotel. The location of the hotel is a walking distance to Jonkers street as well...

It's a lovely place. The decor is really tastefully done. Not too cluttered but cosy and classy. The rooms are clean and spacious. Comfortable enough for a small family too. The location of the hotel is perfect and is only a short walk from the happening places in Malacca. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel interior was well decorated with Peranankan antiques and furniture, and they have a history room for you to understand old Melaka times. The hotel is well situated within Jonker street, and is easily accessible to known food places within Jonker. However, the following requires improvements: 1. Cleanliness - the towels were stained with brown patches, and we had...

My family and I went on a family trip to Melaka, we called the Hotel to book a reservation but the reception said we didn't need to make a reservation. When we arrive we stayed in the Family Suite, to my surprise I wasn't expecting anything much, but the Suite was spectacular. Even though the hotel is "cultural" looking, it...
