After all, I stayed here for four nights if my memory doesn't betray me. Situated in a road parallel to Jonker street it lies in Chinatown close to many attractions one may want to visit. My room contained two separate mattresses lying directly on the floor. The linen was removed from the unused mattress (that one was directly opposite to...

Generally neutral about this guesthouse. Situated on a quiet street one block away from busy Jonker. Simple beds with AC in the room. Would recommend paying m$20 more for attached bathroom. The room is much nicer. Service was average. No parking available nearby. Streets too narrow and busy, you'll seriously if you get a lot

In the first place I take full responsibility for making what turned out to be an error of choosing Kawan Kawan. Secondly ,the location can hardly be better for visiting the heritage sights of Melaka(Malacca). The room I chose was termed as deluxe, which as an experienced traveller I realised in advance was in this case (and at these prices)highly unlikely...

Hotel located near Junker street, central of Melaka. The room is very clean. Staff is nice. We can walk only 3 mins to riverside. The hotel is opposite the Chinese temple. Dim sum place next door was very nice, too.

“We were upstairs at the front overlooking the street. There was a little bit of noise from the amped-up trishaws playing loud disco music and the Muslim call to prayer overnight, but it all added to the experience.”
