I stayed here on a long-term project with a group of 16 people. The rooms are quite large compared to most hotels and I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was despite living in a hotel room for 4 months! The building is older and at times there was a peculiar smell in the Lobby area but I believe...

Not sure where to start with this review. Negatives: Foul odor in common areas Smoke smell in elevators and hallways Small child in lounge with parents who had been there since 5:30 and this was around 9. Parents looked as though they had been drinking Positives: Great price Super soft bed Complimentary drinks @ check in Large room for a...

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to post a review. I am sorry you did smell smoke in areas of the hotel. We do have one smoking floor in the hotel but smoking is confined to that one area. We do not allow anyone in our Sky View Lounge after 9:00 pm that is under...

My wife and I stayed here as we were passing through on a quick getaway. The location is great and worked perfectly for us. The price was great as we booked through "the negotiator". The room was spacious, and the beds comfortable. The smell in the common areas was rather musty, so that was a negative. We were given 2...

I booked a room at this location last weekend, February 21-22. I booked through Priceline and I was pleasantly surprised to see an IHG hotel selected---I have been both a bartender and Director of Sales at two different IHG hotel locations. I know the standards well. The occasion was a wedding, and upon entering the city of Mobile, I called...

Have been staying here for years. Had a very large group and from the front desk to the bartenders.... It was FIRST CLASS!!! We started working on this months ago and they delivered at every turn. The check in process was simplified and they added some nice food and music to the lobby during peak times. Hotel managers always had...

I didn't know there was still an option for an entire hotel to have smoking rooms. The moment you walk in, you immediately become a butt in the ashtray that is the Holiday Inn. It was wrong of me to assume there was no smoking, but for $200+/night, I should come out of here smelling like roses. I will NEVER...

Heres my story: I have stayed at the Admiral Semmes (its next door to this Holiday Inn) Hotel in Mobile the weekend of the Mobile Marathon for the last 6 years. It has alway been adequate, nothing fancy, but decent. Unfortunately the last two years it has plummeted, both in horrible service, and general filthiness. The employees have become a...

Staying anywhere downtown for Mardi Gras is always a hassle. Not here! When you walk in the lobby, you just get the feeling of how nice the hotel is. The employees go above and beyond to make your stay a happy one. The rooms are large, we stayed in a King room on the fifth floor and the view was...

We get a hotel downtown every year for Mardi Gras and out of several others, we prefer this one. The beds are comfy. The rooms are large. The place is clean. The elevators haven't broken down during our stays. The restaurant downstairs is crowded, but sufficient. Nothing too fancy food-wise, but typical hotel restaurant fare. We've never had any problems...

My buddy and I stayed here January 19th for a concert. We couldn't have been more impressed with this hotel. Everything was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. We didn't want to get up when it was time to check out. The bar on the 17th floor is also a must visit. The view is incredible.
