If it was metal, it was rusted. If it was painted, it was chipped. If it was in the bathroom, it had mold on it. The roads that were paved were full of pot holes. There was a place for coffee, but it never appeared. The lodge rooms have no TV, no coffee, no ice, no vending machine. The entrance...

We have spent 2 weekends at Gorham's Bluff and both have been absolutely wonderful! We rented one of the cottages with friends, but ate our meals at the lodge. Delicious! Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Can't beat the scenery! Highly recommend.

We has been doing a road trip and booked into the Evans cottage for one night. Was only available for the one night as all booked up. Our cottage was so beautiful. Was very clean and tidy. Had the log burner on in the evening and we sat with a bottle of red wine, just bliss! The views at Gorhams...

At the recommendation of some friends, husband and and I spent last Sunday at the Lodge on Gorham's Bluff and loved every minute of our visit. Be advised: if you need to be entertained or in the midst of lots of activity, this IS NOT the place for you! If you enjoy elegant comfortable surroundings in calm, peaceful atmosphere, spend...

For twelve years in a row, my wife's family has converged at the Inn on Gorham's Bluff to enjoy our annual reunion in this lovely and quiet setting. Much as when as a youth we'd visit my mom's pretty, younger sister who doted on us and cooked for us and made us feel so very much at home. Rounding the...

My wife and I have been meeting friends and family at Gorham's Bluff for the last 15 years. It is a beautiful place on a bluff overlooking the Tenn. River. The staff have always been warm and friendly and the Chef prepares meals that rival any we have eaten around the world. He takes a personal interest in the guests...

If you're looking for a place to get away from it all, this is the spot! The views are incredible, the staff is friendly and competent, and the chef, Rene, is one of the best. The rooms in the lodge are full of cozy charm. A truly wonderful experience of quiet peace, great food, and beautiful scenery.

Last Thursday, I returned to Gorham's Bluff. My last visit there was 3 or 4 years ago. Fortuntaely, I arrived early evening and was able to enjoy the spectacular view at sunset. Photographs of the view do not do it justice - especially this time of the year when the trees are changing. It's absolutely one of the most beautiful...

The view from the bluffs surrounding the lodge are terrific. The lodge itself looks as though it was a once nice place. Now it’s in dire need of maintenance. Doors of the lodge are hard to work. The hardware is in need of repair or replacement. There are many wasp nests in all the eaves of the porches and along...

My wedding was sept 20th 2014 at the bluff. Dawn is the lady that manages the bluff and weddings. First thing is you can never get a hold of her. Then on the wedding we booked two cottages and she said come on they will be ready. Well we got there the rooms were not clean and the commode was...
