Wonderful, what more can I say. Our family of 3 was able to enjoy activities that benefited all: an adventurous husband, a wife wanting to relax and a child that wanted to explore. Diving, snorkeling, beach time, surfing, visits to the village, kayaking... you name it we were able to enjoy it. We were always well-fed by the hospitable staff...

Our idea of a perfect tropical holiday is; a remote location away from crowds, a white sandy beach, beautiful clear swimming water with accessibility in all tides, good snorkelling straight from the beach, privacy, a clean room/bure overlooking the water/beach and listening to the waves, power in the room for recharging phones, cameras etc., fresh drinking water straight from the...

The Tiliva Resort was our base camp for a 4 day spearfishing adventure organised by Freedive Fiji. From start to finish, we were surprised and entertained by Erik and Dee's wonderful and quirky hospitality. As others have noted, the food was absolutely amazing - not something you would expect on a remote island. One of my quirk's is that I'm...

Wonderful escape from the real world with our two children - amidst a beautiful setting & interesting eccentric company & delicious food. Well worth the journey... The reef near here was some of the most magical and pristine reefs we have ever seen whilst snorkeling.. Our kids loved it too, thank you for a great stay &

Run by a gregarious and eccentric American and his son, Tiliva Resort is charming, small and, like its owners Idiosyncratic and engaging. Each bure has a theme, medieval, SW America, etc and has paintings, ornaments and wall mountings to suit. The beach is great and the area offers plenty to do, including just relaxing and reading a book. What sets...

On a kayaking trip thru the Kadavu Island and we have a two night stay at Tiliva Resort. It is sort of an experience from Fantasy Island - each Buru is themed but the towels are fluffy and the water is hot! Dee one of the owners went out of his way to cater for my dietary requirements of Gluten...

A very special place. If you enjoy diving, fishing, or just enjoying the natural world in a friendly and welcoming environment then this is the place for you. Let's be clear, Tiliva and Kadavu are in a remote area, however, if your mind is open, you enjoy the company of others and appreciate good food made from scratch (and appreciate...

I stayed at 3 resorts on a kayaking trip to Kadavu and rate this the best of the 3. Dee and his co-owner son were great fun and superb chefs. The beach was nice. Each Bure is themed-I stayed in the oriental Bure and had beautiful oriental furnishings and decoration. The sheets were silk! There is an original Picasso in...

Dee and Eric really went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic visit to Tiliva on Kadavu. From the welcoming party on the beach we knew we were in safe hands and our stay really did live up to our expectations. Our large party of 6 people were served brilliant meals every night and Dee, Eric...
