This is a rustic resort, so don't go expecting to have a private bath, TV, AC and kitchenette. The Bures are steps from a soft, white sand beach that rings the island. They are a simple thatched roofed room with multiple beds and windows on all four walls to allow air flow (no glass or screen, but shuttered). They have...

My husband and I won a prize of 3 nights at Leleuvia and boy did we hit the jackpot!! The resort is a quick 40min boat ride from Bau landing just 40mins from Suva. The ride was scenic and peaceful, once we arrived at the resort our jaws dropped to the ground because of how beautiful it was. We stepped...

We stayed one week there, most of the time we enjoyed our stay there. They have beach bures which are basic, you can fit 5 person in one buree. On that price what they are asking should have own toilet and hot shower but no, shared toilet and cold showers. We saw that they have coconuts on palm trees so...

Find a spot in the ocean large enough to erect a few Bures, buy a Chinese-built generator, install a freshwater desalination plant, employ a few locals and bingo bango you have a paradise in the sun. Leleuvia Resort is no different to the abundance of resorts in the Fiji Islands. A number of Bures sleeping up to eight people, white...

This place has a gorgeous beach with great accommodations. The dorm beds were clean and the outside showers were great. It was rumored that some showers had warm water but for the most part they were all cold, which was fine during the day. All showers and sinks come with complimentary coconut soap which felt great on the skin. They...

5 star. The staff are wonderful & the food is exquisite. There is so much to do for the whole family. We really enjoyed the scuba dive, kayaking & crystal clear waters for swimming & snorkelling. Perfect spot to sit back, totally relax and unwind!

If you're in Suva, this is the perfect escape from the bustling city - only 45 minutes away and the landscape is completely transformed into an island paradise. Many of the activities are included (SUP, kayaking, snorkel equipment) and you're staying in a local rustic bure which just has what is necessary. The snorkeling is one of the very best...
