We stumbled across the beautiful family that run the Silana Eco Lodge by accident. We were recommended to visit the beach by the staff at the Levuka Museum. What an incredible family and gorgeous environment they have created! We were treated to delicious delights all afternoon and their generous, friendly, open hospitality. As the first guests after Cyclone Winston we...

I planed to stay four days in Silana but finally I stayed one week, and changed my ferry ticket. I felt so well there ! It's really a little paradise with its quiet beach. All the meals were perfect ! I went with Seru hiking around the island and also to the old village. It was really cool. He also...

Arriving in Levuka Seru waited for us and than we climbed in the truck to get Silana resort. The room was big (we were upgraded because only us there) Food was OK, but nothing special. Nice beach with many trees. Snorkeling poor. Weather was not so good, but they are for nothing. Enough friendly Antoine & Evelyne

This was our second visit to Silana, and once again we were welcomed into the family. During our week-long stay we relaxed on the beach, went snorkelling, played New Years games with the local kids from the village, learnt how to make coconut oil, drank coconut water, were invited to the kava ceremony in the village, had cooking lessons and...

It was a pleasure and an honour to meet this lovely family. We had excellent boat rides to the off shore reef with amazing fishing and snorkeling - with the fish cooked to perfection when we returned! The walk Seru takes your through the village and gardens is interesting and informative as well as picturesque! We went for a day...

My girlfriend and I visited Silana about six times while we were in Ovalau. We had planned to stay two days and in the end we spent more than two weeks travelling around the old town of Levuka and surrounding areas. We were told by the friendly staff at the museum that Silana was where would find the better snorkeling...

We (two couples) stayed here for three nights sharing one self contained accommodation which allowed us to have our own fridge. We did not self cater as we enjoyed the option of delicious meals prepared by Sala and Seru. On the first night we found it hot as the breeze did not blow in the direction of our windows but...

I spent my Christmas and New Year's week here. The owners quickly introduced me to the village nearby and let me take part in a week long traditional fijian celebration of the holidays. It was a very intense magical cultural experience. I have traveled around the world and never before did I get this close to a remote native community....
