Pathetic from the start. At the Denarau marina we were shown pictures of a big catamaran which will take us to the island but were shoved on to a small dingy with the excuse that the other boat was full, although we had booked in advance. Upon reaching the island we were told that no snorkels were available and had...

We were at the beachcomber island resort on the 23-27 of December. On arrival we were greeted by Fijian singing which was lovely and taken over to the reception area to check in. On check in we were required to pay 80 fijian dollars a day for their compulsory meal package which included breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and...

Ithj was a great place to stay, we had a cabin on the beach, the water lapped up to us, clear water, you could see the fish without snorkelling. It was stunning. All food and entertainment is included, there was also mini golf, volleyball, glass bottom boat rides and you could go on many different tours.

The island is absolutely stunning . And the service received was fantastic. Wonderful ! I couldn't fault it. It was relatively quiet , so I was told. It was perfect for me. I opted for the large dorm room which was great, clean and surprising cool in the evenings. Great actives provided that are for free , also a bonus....

I came to Beachcombers expecting to be overwhelmed by a 24/7 party island but was pleasantly surprised by what I found. Beachcombers is a perfect mix of relaxing, picturesque beaches during the day, and then a bumping club that goes until 3am. I stayed in the dorm and it was great. Quiet, well ventilated, and clean. The perfect spot to...

My boyfriend and I opted for the full day tour of the Beachcomber island from my resort. It cost FJD$99 per person, which included the return boat trip and lunch. Little did we know that it would be one of the most fun and best days of our lives. This island was in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by clear,...

If your young (or young at heart) and want to get your party on, this is the place to come. You can quite happily guarantee there is going to be some sort of party every night. It is well positioned in the islands and the Yasawa Flyer stops here which makes it really easy to get up the Yasawa Group....

We did a half day trip to the island. We had a small boat take us to the island and it was a very choppy day, every person was soaked by the time we got there. We were greeted with lunch that was decent, and then told we would have to leave earlier than planned because people on our trip...

New management, new staff except for 3 or 4. The island has more sand on the beach, less coral and the water was lovely. The welcome is the same as before. I had a lodge room, room was clean and the bed comfortable. There is more music - no island band - a lot is screaming English hit songs -...
