this is the 2 nds time to Mana what a lot has changed in three years, not for the better. The food was terrible we got food posioning the first day we got there and multiple times after that don't eat the food from the buffet, talked to management and was sent to the nurse and then they tried charginging...

It's really hard to write this review. We have been to mana before and it was fantastic. Unfortunately things have changed and other reviewers have pointed this out. Mana is a beautiful island we loved snorkelling at both south and north beach and a bit of bread would bring dozens of fish up to you. We loved hanging out at...

I holidayed here with my family many years ago and remember Mana Island being friendly, welcoming and idyllic, man has time changed this place, for the worse. Lets start with the pros - beautiful island, crystal clear waters, beaches were paradise, oh and the backpackers food was fantastic!! The cons - The food and the service. The food was overpriced...

Believe the bad reviews! This place looks and feels like an abandoned amusement park stuck in the 90s. No atmosphere whatsoever, it does the bare minimum in terms of style (tired furniture and rooms with sadly no Fijian touches at all), service (lifeless staff), and food (bland and sloppy $45pp buffet breakfast, in a fly ridden cafeteria with kids crying...

My first question is, what happen to the upgrade that Mana Island just had? The cottages look old and frail, unless they were staff quarters that we passed then it makes sense. Of all the Mamanuca Islands I have ever been to this takes the award for being the worst. There is absolutely nothing for cruisers to do, except chill...

No hot water for 4 of the 5 days we were there. Lunches took 1 hour to come then arrived burnt. When we asked them to replace it they scrapped and cut off the worst parts and brought it back to us. Air conditioning did not work and when it did it leaked all over the bed and we were...

The island itself is postcard perfect. Crystal clear waters and beautiful tranquility. Coming off the ferry you think it's Paradise Found. Then we saw our room...and nope, definitely Paradise Lost. Mana may have been a 5-star resort in the 90s and that's probably when they last did anything constructive to the rooms. Cupboards that don't shut, beds that still have...

First time in Fiji and stayed with 21yr old daughter in October for the island swim. Everything was great we ate at most places the little restaurant near the spa was by far our favourite great fresh food and lovely staff. The only problem was one night at the South Beach bar, slow service they confused our order and still...

We thought Mana Island Resort, the so-called "family island", would be great value, with its 5 hours' built-in babysitting a day; and that it would be geared towards families in both value and service/amenities - but sadly, we were wrong. Greed, it seems, has taken over the island. When you're paying $300 a night for accommodation, and $500 for your...

The resort was tired, most staff were bordering on surly and the food ridiculously bad. We had just spent Christmas at Longitude 131, but this was just so far removed from a 4 star hotel that it was a joke. Some swim tops were stolen from outside the villa, but the management were indifferent. However, had to visit the nurse...
