We stayed at Fiji Palms nxt door but have been to The Pearl twice before. Very sad to see the original atmosphere of fiji taken away by building that new modern resort. Love old Pearl don't rate new Pearl. Wish brekky buffet was in old Pearl still. Old Pearl staff good as always new Pearl staff need to smile and...

We were waited on for everything! The staff was so friendly and kind. We enjoyed the clean rooms and well manicured gardens. We loved feeding the fish in the pond every morning (even in the rain). Would recommend if you just want to disconnect and relax.

We were in the pacfic harbour for shark diving and chose to stay in the new wing while there. They hotel is nicely kept and has three restaurants to choose from although the food there is served in Fiji time ;) We didnt do much of the activities but the pool was nice with a decently stocked bar next to...

Took the wife to the Pearl for Mother's Day weekend. The hotel is located an hours drive from Suva, really good for a weekend getaway. We stayed in one of the newly renovated penthouse suites, which were nice and luxurious, but were pretty poorly finished. I am concerned that they will not maintain their standard for too many years. The...

Let me qualify my comments, we did stay for 1 week in the first week of May which was very wet and windy on 5 of the 7 days of our stay.New rooms in the hotel are good and staff could not be more helpful. The pool area and surrounds were small and very disappointing for a Fiji resort hotel....

We stayed in the New and parents were in the old area of this resort, both were great rooms with great views, ours overlooking the harbour whilst parents overlooked the beach and pool complex. Was great hanging with family and friends by the pool (which had a bar) loved the red lights in the cave. The restaurant was reasonable and...

Most of the staff have a long way to go in terms of customer service. The hotel atmosphere certainly doesn't reflect the true Fijian spirit; one that is friendly, homely and above all happy. One only need to go to the Outrigger Resort in the Coral Coast to taste the real Fijian Paradise

We went to The Pearl Resort to hopefully enjoy some reasonable quality dining. Ugh is the best description. A la carte the fish was dry and chewy. Indian buffet was okay, dhal soup the highlight. Staff pleasant, waterside location good but food was just terrible. I have heard of some good experiences but not this time unfortunately.

The Pearl Pacific Harbour is an upmarket establishment that seems to cater mostly to large groups and the government sector. The six nights we were there saw groups from an international accounting firm and what seemed like the Fijian Government staying for seminars . The hotel seemed to prioritise these clientele rather that the group of ten divers that we...
