This is a 3.5 star hotel in the middle of the city in a residential neighbourhood quite convenient to everything. It's a 10-minute walk to two metro stations but that saves a lot of money. Its concierge is very helpful for us when more than...More
We stayed two night at this hotel and found it to be on the better side than the others we stayed in and it was a nice way of finishing our holiday. It was fairly central and the metro station not far from the hotel...More
I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights whilst visiting my son who lives in the area. I found it to be clean and comfortable with friendly staff and a reasonable breakfast. My only criticism is that it boasts a gym which is an exaggeration...More

The hotel was clean with friendly, helpful staff. All in reception speak english. Location was further away from the Exhibition center than advertised but with Metro and Bus reachable in short time. Very quiet area with limited shops and restaurants around.
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same
quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
