Went to this Hostel as a friend was staying there, and had heard that the social atmosphere was great. When i stayed there the social factor wasn't there, but the rooms were comfortable and the people were very nice and friendly. Everyone i spoke to had good English, and the showers were relatively clean. Ask the bar woman if you...

This hostel is right opposite a metro station, and it cost me only 4RMB to get here from Hongqiao Airport (not Pudong International). The level of English speaking in China is usually very poor or non-existent, but the staff at Blue Mountain speak it very well and are able to help with most questions. The Wifi is fine, it is...

Rooms where clean. Is located right outside a subway station. I wouldn't stay in this area of if I had done any research before. I had a room at the front which had a lot of noise from the street outside. Another down side is that I asked if the hostel did organised tours which they didn't which was a...

I strongly recommend everybody to stay here while visiting Shanghai. They recently introduced a bar with amazing drinks in the living and the background music there is absolutely everthing you need to relax after a day visiting Shanghai.

Very easy to find, right in front of subway exit. Area is full of places to eat, convenience stores, etc. There is a funny smell but it is like that in many places in China, not big deal after a while. Wifi is only available in the main area, staff is friendly but their English is not as good, so...

Stayed here from 14/12/14 to 19/12/14. Conveniently located opposite Luban Road Station Exit 3. We arrived at 9am in the morning after arriving at midnight and hanging around Burger King at the airport - Wasn't made to wait and was immediately given the room 246 which was a lovely room with 2 windows, 2 single beds and an attached bathroom...

The title pretty much sums it up. Location was right next to the subway so was easy to get around. The service was average due to limited English but they knew more English than I know Mandarin so I guess I can't really say that's a negative.. The street outside really smells bad but it doesn't smell inside the hostel....

We had a bad experience as they didn´t respect the booking on arrival and they split us in 3 different rooms, so we only stay one night and then changed to a hotel. Staff very unhelpful and also the location wasnt as central as described in the website. Also people got confuse as they have another hostel same name only...

The hostel is in a good location just across the road from the metro station. We arrived early and the staff allowed us to check in which was great because we really needed to catch up on some sleep. Tidy and doable for a hostel. Would definitely recommend it to anyone on a budget.
