This hostel's common area is spacious and comfortable, but the rooms are tiny. The dorm room has metal lockers and small beds, though comfortable. There are bikes to rent but the deposit is a bit high at 700RMB, I never have that much cash on...More
Good location as it is near cheap food, the subway, and a temple. But the atmosphere felt like stale bread. There aren't any bonding activities. The common space is not that inviting as there are only a few benches. Would be better served with more...More
- Well-located - 10 min walk from the metro and 15 min from the all-night airport bus. Staff on duty all night to help you out.
- The rooms are clean, spacious and there are massive lockers for all your belongings, as well as...More
My friends and I stayed here and really enjoyed it. The location is close to many things and makes catching a cab quick and easy (yes, you can take subways but we found cabs to be quicker and easier...just have the address in Chinese). There...More

The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same
quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
