The location of this hotel couldn't be more perfect -- it's within minutes from Nanjing East Road where all the famous foods/shopping area is located. Stroll down the street towards the Bund where a 10 minute walk will lead you to the water! Our biggest concern in China was safety and this area is 100% safe with people walking up...

The hotel is in a good location, just a 10 minute walk to the main shopping area and transport links. This was a last minute booking. Upon check-in, they informed us that the only available rooms were ones with a king-size bed or, if we really wanted a twin beds, then we could opt for the room with no windows!...

I have stayed in this hotel earlier also. This hotel is a 5 minute walk with luggage from East Nanging station. Take exit 2 or 5. The road itself is too shady and the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It's a good 10 minute walk from Bund and 5 minutes from the shopping in East Nanging road. There...

The very moment we checked in the staff were very rude and unwelcoming. We first had a few problems that were difficult to solve and it seemed like the reception staff were uninterested and thought if us as more trouble than we are worth. There was one man (perhaps the assistant manager) was by far the rudest man I've ever...

Our family stayed for one night at The Bund Riverside Hotel while we were waiting for a cruise out of Shanghai. The location was really good with the Nanjing Shopping Area within 5 minutes walking distance. It wasn't a long taxi drive from other tourist hotspots like the Shanghai World Financial Centre for example. The hotel decor and facilities are...

this hotel was very well positioned and had everything that you needed. We had room 515 with vast at least 180degree views. The view included the financial district in all of it's glory. Hotel staff very helpful. Breakfast was sufficient but keep in mind you are in a Chinese Hotel. This hotel is so well positioned that all things are...

The Bund Riverside is a pleasant hotel in a good location. Easy walk to Nanging Rd pedestrian street and the Bund. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Our room was good size and the bathroom was comfortable. Room has a fridge and safe. Only downside is that the beds are very, very hard...sort of like sleeping on concrete! There is...

This is my second time at this hotel, the first was three years ago and it has definitely deteriorated. The carpets in my room very stained and even very dirty to say the least, you would not dare walk barefoot on them! The breakfast is definitely not the bargain of the month and is extremely limited. The only good thing...

good location (Metro line 2 taking to airport within 5-10 minutes walking distance), very comfortable rooms, nice and friendly staff ; I needed to prolong my stay and I have highly appreciated the suggestion of the front desk personal to do it online as the cost was significantly lower (I booked all on C-trip). It's definitely worth it to spend...
