Great breakfast - shame about some rude staff though. COMFY BEDS - 1st soft mattress I've had in China, this place is geared up for westerners and business people. Strangely set in amongst a run down area but safe and an excellent place to explore from. really liked it here. The rooms were enormous! An entranceway a hall way a...

Location is great if you want to explore a true Chinese working mans neighborhood Go out back door of hotel and turn left. Walk around in the few blocks close to the hotel where there are many local storefronts and apartments. Good cultural experience. Not much English spoken but generally people are very friendly. The hotel is nice, the 24...

First, after a long bus ride to get there, our room was unavailable although the tour had booked it months in advance. After offering us a smaller room (which we were not happy about), they upgraded us to a better room. The AC was set at an uncomfortably hot temperature and was set so that we could not change it...

Not that central , but Shanghai is so large, perhaps nothing is. Nice room but temperature control doesn't work well. Very hot! Breakfast mediocre. Exercise rooms is open with not good hours. Service is slow.

We enjoyed a large room looking across houses toward the city and river. Huge king sized bed, well stocked bar and excellent choice for breakfast. Easy walk to shopping mall, short taxi ride to Bund. A good hotel to use as a base, being inside the inner ring road. The in room wifi was quite slow. Wired internet was chargeable....

Stayed at this hotel March 2015 as a part of a group tour. Hotel caters for massive numbers! Our room was very large, great bathroom, which included a tv to view. The making of the bed was not perfect, but overall you will not be dissapointed. Would cost you an arm and a leg comparatively in Australia.

Our room faced the Bund and was a lovey sight in the morning and evening. The windows were a bit dirty which made for less than clear pictures, but did not affect the view. We stayed here for two evenings as part of a tour. The room, including the bathroom was well kept and clean. The TV over the bathtub...

This was my birthday trip and Sinorama picked a great location for me to lay my tired body at night after non stop exciting itinerary. We just flew from Toronto, toured the city, had dinner and checked in to hotel for the night or to fresh up and go out. I stayed in the hotel. Went upstairs to have a...

This hotel is beautiful. Yes, it is in an out-of-the way location, but taxis in Shanghai were very inexpensive (riding for more than a half hour cost less than US$15) The room was clean and tastefully appointed, with all the most up to date amenities. I didn't give it an "excellent" review due to the dusty, dirty Murano glass chandeliers...

This looked like it was a grand hotel in its day but hotel lacked cleanliness and something missing. Carpets were dirty and tables and walls in room had finger prints and very dusty. Some rooms smelt of smoke. We were on a group tour and all agreed hotel lacked cleanliness and even bed sheets had holes in them. Breakfast reasonable...
