Let me start by saying I understand that Chinese hotels will not always live up to the standards of Western ones. I have lived here for many years, I get it. By far, this is the worst place I ever stayed. The room was ok, but never cleaned. The garbage was taken out every day, so that was enough. The...

You must outweigh the advantages from the disadvantages of staying at this weird place. I read the reviews from fellow trip advisers but I gave it a try to see if maybe people were a little harsh. I was proven wrong at first glance you think its a seafood restaurant and then a massage parlour with wall full pictures of...

It's old, but it's fine. It has got some sort of character that I can't quite describe - a love hotel for one part, classy faded elegance for another part. And it was cheap! Asian-style hard, thin mattress. My only real negative was the complimentary buffet. I live in Asia, eat this kind of food regularly, but that morning's free...

Hotel is good, service is also good, but receptionists are not willing to return caution money, so be careful at the time of checkout and take back your money.... Breakfast is delicious too, place is near to the lujiabang metro station just 5 minute walking from gate 2 lujiabang metro station.

We had the misfortune of staying here at the start of March Positives: +: The shower was ok. Negatives: -: The location was overrated, it was near a decent enough mall and a Subway but nothing else. -: The breakfast was pitiful, it was a buffet consisting of cold noodle, starchy bread like products and water which they had the...

Where else near the french concession could you get this kind of price, if you know please tell me. I've even asked the front desk and it turns out, if you stayed for a month, it'd even be cheaper than renting, now that's pretty cool. Well, all the coolness ends there. At first glance, the word tacky comes to mind,...

Room was clean although we never got clean glasses. Hookers leave their cards under your door. Hall floors and dining room floors were filthy. Not allowed to take more than one egg at breakfast and it was the only item that looked appealing. 2 long blocks from subway. No English spoken. Charged us for using linens when we checked out....

Negatives: Staff doesn't speak English Housekeeping can be noisy in the morning Positives: Larger rooms Quirky furniture Great price for the location I sometimes do business in Shanghai, so I've stayed here on multiple occasions. I'm always trying to find a good hotel for under 200rmb, but never find a good one. I've stayed at hostels, business hotels, etc. and...
