The location is very convenient, sitting in the center of Shanghai. The room is spacious. The lougue is quite big compared with others. A lot of drinks and wines. However, there not too much foods, only snacks.

Dear Chaojiew, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. The hotel is indeed ideally located right in the center of Shanghai and just one block away from the pedestrian street Nanjing Road, one of the busiest shopping streets in the world. I was touched by Niky Chen's careful and thoughtful consideration during my stay though I couldn't help but cancel the rest of my journey. Indeed on the first day of Shanghai, I lost my phone when I transfer at People's Square but I couldn't get it back. I had difficulty but no one tried to help me find my phone....

We stayed in a Riverview Suite 8 nights over the Chinese New Years - and we were so very happy with our stay! Our room was mere steps from the Executive Lounge where we had breakfast, afternoon tea, hot meals and drinks most every day. The staff in the lounge are adorable - we especially remember Laura, Cynthia and Anna...

I am not normally the type of guy who writes reviews, Although I do always read them. So I though it was high time I offered a bit of feedback myself. It strikes me that normally people are only motivated to write reviews when they have a negative experience; if you enjoy your stay you simply say thank you and...

Staying in People’s Square

Neighbourhood Profile
People’s Square
People’s Square brings with it all the excitement you would expect from the town square of one of the biggest cities in the world. The area around People’s Square and People’s Park is always a abuzz with activity. Oceans of local and foreign tourists flow in and out of the area every day to see grand museums, go shopping and eat at some of Shanghai’s most storied food centers. Shanghai residents, meanwhile, live and work in the many residential and office high-rises. While much of Shanghai stays busy late into the night, this really is an area that never sleeps with glitzy nightclubs keeping people up until the wee hours of the morning.
