Stunning little place set quite a distance from Shanghai Downtown but it was not a major issue . . Unfortunately for us due to the "Beautification" of the area the main road to the resort has been destroyed so makes for very slow bumpy going . . There is plan to start the repair in July and it is expected...

The island resort is 1.5hrs away from the main Shanghai city attraction. So if you are expecting skyscrapers, shopping malls and the works... this is not for you. Firstly, this is a golf resort and ideal if you want to play golf. It's also for people who enjoy being away from a busy city but being able to access the...

Suburb of Shanghai, nearby ZhuJiaJiao 朱家角, island has little outcast but close enough location to the CBD. Hardware has been well maintained and staff are all very friendly and helpful. Shuttle bus takes us all places on the island. Guess there might be more food choices in summer? Recommendable peaceful weekend break to spend from Shanghai city you know.

Nice resort that promotes relaxation, serenity, Tai Chi, plenty of acreage to walk and enjoy nature. Good (Chinese) food on site, horseback riding, mini-karts race. Easy accessible, line 9 subway to Dongjing station, then a taxi ride (about 85 RMB).

The 50 km distance from the city center does not pose a problem as public transport is very cheap and convenient. Bus No. 3 stops right at the resort entrance and a RMB1 ride brings you to the bus terminal. From there an air conditioned express bus brings you to the city center at People's Park for RMB12. Beyond that,...

1st of all, if you dont speak their dialect, you better download goggle translate, I learned the hard way. After I came back to the states, my bus. partner told me about the app. I flew into pvg airport, and was CHARGED 900 RMB (US about 134.00) for a hour and 30min taxi (van) ride to the resort. They got...

The resort is hour and half by car from the central city of Shanghai, about 20 minutes to nearby a historical water city Zhu Jia Jiao. We had a 2BR villa. It was just remodeled with nice furnitures. There are enough kitchen supplies but no dishwasher. The full kitchen does not arranged properly that needs more space and outlets. However,...

Had a wonderful time at sun island. The staff were very friendly and we got a lot of assistance from the customer service group. The resort is a fair way from Shanghai but it's locationhas a nice rural feel and you are still able to visit a number of quaint river towns. The transport to Shanghai via the public buses...

The hotel (except the room) is very nice and the hotel staff are friendly. There is a very nice golf course. Everything is good apart from the bed which is very hard and uncomfortable. Hence, we did not sleep well during our 1-week stay. Another thing I did not like was the room service: On the last day before we...

We are back again for a week this summer. The villa is nicely decorated, better than last time. Shuttle bus super convenient. Only complaint is the slides at the wave pool are closed the whole week we will be here. Apparently closed since early July and looks like nothing is being done to repair it.
