Generally good and acceptable for money. The hotel locates above the shopping mall where has direct access from the metro station (line 2, 3 and 4). Navigator on the lobby is great. The chief chef was so friendly and walks to talk to the customers every morning in the breakfast buffet, which is very nice. Though, some staffs need more...

I'd love to love this Marriott - the rooms are nice, the views of Shanghai are spectacular and the location is ultra convenient as it's next to a subway station and adjoins a mall with a Carrefour grocery store and dozens of food choices. At this point, what's not to love, right? Well, for me, these downsides really offset the...

honestly the hotel is ok, just very over priced. Why do I keep staying here? location location location. It right over a subway station so you can get to either airport or train station with ease, even with luggage. The mall has great restaurants, try the yellow fish dumplings. The hotel staff is very professional, great view from the higher...

When we visit Shanghai, we always stay at the Renaissance in Zhongshan Park. Club level food and drinks are excellent, good exercise club, well trained and responsive staff, cigar area if you are so inclined and it is directly above line 2 subway station. Easy transit from airports via subway and Maglev.

The Renaissance chain in China is more like a pumped up Marriott throughout the U.S. or Europe. Don't let this friendly-priced chain confuse you. The hardware of most of most of the Renaissance hotels are great in Shanghai, I have literally stayed at all of them, so I am allowed to say this, I hope :) This one is just...

The hotel is very centrally located, at the heart of the Cloud Nine Mall. It is very convenient to many restaurants and subway lines. I also enjoyed peaceful walks at Zhongshan Park located a few hundred meters away.

Located in good area of Shanghai with close distance to city centre and is own shopping centre underneath, this is a good hotel for the price. Nothing wrong with the rooms or the staff. Staying in Zhongshan Park

Neighbourhood Profile
Zhongshan Park
The residential and commercial areas around the beautiful grounds of Zhongshan Park have never been considered particularly fashionable by a majority of Shanghai’s foreign residents, but plenty of expats do choose to live here. The park itself is a huge draw, providing a pocket of serenity in the middle of the metropolis. The area has its share of trendy shops with wares that can’t be found elsewhere, delicious restaurants with food ranging from fancy to affordable, and great hidden bars. Rents are also cheaper here than in other neighborhoods with the same conveniences. Aside from the obvious attractions, with its neighborhood fix-anything shops and pop-up street stalls that sell anything you need, you’ll never sacrifice Western comforts.
