The staff was very friendly the Inn is close to the University of Alabama and we have stayed there around 5 times. I would highly recommend the Jack Warner. They have a quiet relaxed setting this is truly a great place to stay.

The Jack Warner at NorthRiver is a special place. The hotel, like North River Yacht Club, is a time capsule from the 80's. This is not a bad thing. The hotel is very secluded, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and approachable. My room was very comfortable, dated, and perfect for what I wanted. Just be aware that this...

Will V Thank you for your positive comments. Our "retro"-"off the beaten path" contributes to our charm and our image of a "Unique, Boutique, Retreat" destination hotel. Nestled in the woods of The Yacht Club there is, of course, plenty of hiking and beautiful nature scenery to enjoy. Our spacious sleeping rooms are comfy and cozy. It is a peaceful...

Grossly overpriced. Room decor too gloomy and dark. Poor lighting in room. Furniture in poor shape. Bathroom is motel-ish. Continental breakfast poorly presented, tables poorly arranged (too close to food service & other guests), only iced teaspoon available (until I asked attendant). Front desk service was nice.

Only 3 rooms rented for entire weekend which made it a little uncomfortable when returning in the evening. Really need to improve breakfast as the hotel is so far away from any restaurants and need to start serving at 6 rather than 7.

This hotel may seem away from the University and activities, but it is Not. You can get to any game or city event in 10 minutes. The amenities of the Country Club are available to guests of the hotel. There are some fees depending on what you want to do, but they are small. This location is beautiful and quiet....

I booked this hotel because it was the only room available in Tuscaloosa the weekend we went. It turned out that it was a bit far from campus - it took us 10-15 minutes to get to our daughter's dorm; however, it was right next door to the Yacht Club, which her sorority had booked for a parents' weekend cocktail...

This was the second time we have stayed at The Jack Warner, both times to celebrate a wedding attended by many friends and family members. The setting on Lake Tuscaloosa and adjacent to the North River Yacht Club is simply gorgeous. The inn is filled with antiques and artwork collected by noted Alabama industrialist and philanthropist, Jack Warner. If you're...

I went here while my daughter visited a gym camp. I was extremely impressed. The landscaping was out of this world. The statues were very eloquent. The staff was extremely friendly. The golf course was in immaculate shape. It provided but a scenic and challenging experience for both the experienced and inexperienced golfer. I'll definitely play here again. Please note...
